HOLIDAY VILLA BY THE SEA WITH EXCLUSIVE GARDEN OF 3000 SQM

OK, so we loved this place - but then we love rustic places in quiet locations.The house itself is very traditionally furnished in an older Italian style - if you're looking for modern and boutique then this isn't it. For the amount of time we spent inside it, it was clean and had everything we needed. Comfy bed, great sleeps.The outside looks like it has been renovated in recent times. Comfy, private patio area and extensive grounds, nice place to just relax for a day if you don't fancy exploring. It would lovely if it had a pool, but on a hot day the outdoor shower works just as well. And the views are stunning.There's not much in the immediate vicinity, so a car is fairly essential to get around as any shops, restaurants etc would otherwise be a long walk along the fairly busy road at the top of the slope from the property (far enough away that there is no traffic noise).10 minutes or so one way you have Santa Maria which is a lovely, low-rise fishing village gotten touristy (but without selling it's soul). We particularly liked the restaurant Santa Maria along the near end of the promenade.10 minutes the other way is the Maria di Novaglie and the Lo Scolo restaurant which was the find of our holiday. Spend some time there - we went for dinner one night and then came back the next day to use the sunloungers, have a swim and do a long, late lunch. Amazing spot.Hope you have as much fun in this lovely part of Italy as we did.

The place is exactly what the pictures and descriptions. This said it is complicated to explain how special the view and nature that is available to you. It is outside of town and thus very quiet which we were looking for. For the rest, the hosts are super nice and helpful so that we could make the most of our stay.

This property is super clean and private. The view was gorgeous and the bed comfortable. We were travelling around Italy was it was perfect for some down time. Loved the loungers and the outdoor shower to cool off. Take a drive there was an amazing beach and fantastic restaurants with a view

The jaw-dropping view is just the beginning if this very dpecial property. Plenty of room for two people. Beautiful property and gardens. Lovely, accomodating hosts. Fascinating area to explore and not overrun with tourists. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Anna and Alfio took very good care of us. The house was lovely and well equipped. We very much enjoyed our time here!

Very clean and nice small villa. Perfect place for two adults who don’t want to party all night long anymore. View to the seaside is wonderful. Hosts Anna and Alfio are exceptional frendly and warm. Ready to help at once if needed but don’t bother you if help is not needed. Strongly recommend this pöace.

Beautiful outside area/views/trees and plants. Definitely a place where you will want to spend most of your time outdoors! Appreciated this even more after seeing other properties where gardens were sparse. It felt very private (although there is a property next door - not sure whether this is in use). We spent a lot of time at the property and I found the outdoor chairs uncomfortable towards the end of the stay. Mid-may was cooler and much more windy than I expected.

After weeks of researching places all over Puglia, I chose this property for the spaciousness outdoors with a closeup view of the sea. Maria and Alfie were dedicated hosts to make certain I had an enjoyable stay. I discovered about 15 species of birds on my Merlin app. I even spotted the Hoopoe bird long enough to identify it. I found flying into Bari totally doable for my flight in and out of Gagliano de Capo. There are many touristy things to do, yet I’d likely skip those things in favor of staying on the property and visiting the many incredibly gorgeous azure beaches. The color of the sea in this area is beyond my experience . The house is small yet comfortable, especially the bed and special pillows which made for great sleeping. I easily managed without a washing machine. I believe the outdoor area was even more expansive and beautiful than the photos portrayed. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to return.
