Stayed Dec 28, 2021Sharon's home is beautiful. You don't need anything but your swim suit. It's safe, scenic, quiet, comfortable, and local to lot's of things. My family of 6 couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. While you're renting one half of a duplex, you can see/engage the neighbors (if any) as much or little as you like.

Stayed Jul 31, 2021Had a good 2 weeks stay with our kids. Villa was comfortably appointed and bikes, snorkel, deck chairs kit etc were great for popping down to nearest beautiful beach 5 mins cycle away. It has stunning views of Jolly Harbour. The listing is however somewhat misleading when it says you have the ‘entire villa’ and separate private outside space. Only mentioning at the very end the potential that a ‘huge’ pool maybe shared if the sister villa is occupied. The reality is it’s 2 semi detached 3 bed villas that open up onto one outside pool area. Whilst each has its own outside table and bbq and 2 sun loungers outside each of villas’ doors , the pool and sofas under gazebo are shared. We were fortunate to only overlap on the last 3 nights with another family. This gave for a very different experience as the pool isn’t huge nor is the space private or self contained. We felt very much as if the outside space was shared. Also if you book be aware that whilst only a short distance from Jolly Harbour the back access gates are shut so you have to go the long way around on a very poor condition road ( part of which is a massively rutted dirt track. The tarmac section was also really poor with sections that had subsided and meant you had to drive through a ditch. Took 15 mins to drive and strongly advise you get a 4x4. Our salon car struggled to cope with the road. Also the villa is set on the hillside and accessible by a steep rutted gravel track. Whilst supposedly doing ‘Covid standard cleaning’, we were disappointed the villa wasn’t totally clean when we arrived. There was washing up left of the draining board, detergent spilt on top on the washing machine, the microwave had a spill on it and we had to asked for the bbq to be cleaned. Also surprisingly for a ‘5 star’ villa it didn’t have a dishwasher. Re the canoes you'll need a roof rack or estate car to transport them. The owner and the local staff member were very responsive and sorted out the aircon issue and a bed that broke within 24 hours. Would recommend the villa but if you want a totally private villa holiday this isn’t the one for you.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very responsive owner and manager, we booked at very short notice after we were disappointed and our first booking was shifted by a few days., Sharon responded quickly and helped an anxious moment, the property was excellent, Kefflin was efficient and was there to welcome us and give us a tour. She was also very responsive when we need anything. I recommend. Thanks, Eloho from Nigeria.

Stayed Dec 24, 2020We enjoyed our stay at the property, the views are as spectacular as advertised but the home was really a bit of the beaten path so if you’re okay with that then it’s a go. It was quiet and that was what we needed at this time. The property manager was very accommodating and kept us abreast of all necessary information during our stay. We had an enjoyable holiday away from home. Thank you

Stayed Mar 10, 2020This villa has everything that you need to have for a vacation. The beds are very comfortable and the cleanliness of the house is spot on. The staff Keeflin is very welcoming and at your service. The only thing that I would recommend to the owner is to review thier remboursement policy in case of emergency reasons. I had to shorten my stay due to the Covid-19 situation and owner did not offer me a solutions to this date for the remaining 5 days of the villa. I think this procedure needs to be revised since this is an exceptional worldwide emergency situation. A credit for the car was done but not the house. I would greatly après credit for the days not used. Asides this unfortunate situation which I had no choice to shorten my stay I had a nice time at this place. Thankyou for having my family in your beautiful home.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property has an ideal location - nestled into the hillside overlooking Jolly Bay. We enjoyed fantastic sun sets every evening while lounging around the pool or having cocktails in the gazebo. During the day it was a quick three minute car ride (or 10 minute walk) to a picturesque beach. No crowds and wonderful sand and shells. Finally, the property is close to Jolly Harbor shops so its an easy trek in the car to reprovision the house or find amazing water-viewed restaurants. Also, nice and quiet away from any bustle you might find in a resort.

Stayed Mar 15, 2019We just returned from 8 nights at AntiquaBella and wish we could go back!! The views from the patio, the set-up of the house and extras like beach chairs and a cooler so we could explore a new beach every day, the proximity to town and restaurants, feeling our blood pressure and stress level melt away as we stepped out onto the back patio....we could go on and on! Sharon and Thomas are great hosts and were very helpful in recommending places to go, where to eat, massages at the house (a MUST do!!) and were incredibly responsive before we arrived and once on site. Great people and have a lovely family!! We are a family of 4 and our daughters (ages 6 and 8) absolutely loved the pool just steps out the back door and enjoyed spoiling the neighboring dogs (Bella and Carson who are both so sweet and adorable!!) on a daily basis. Some of our favorite places: *Crows Nest in Jolly Harbour -- excellent food, views, and live music! *Sheer Rocks, just 10 minutes down the road--amazing!! *Beaches: Hermitage (about 5 mins down the road), Half Moon Bay, Turners...none will disappoint! Favorite excursion: Boat ride on Thriller where we went to Prickly Pear Island, a private island. Overall, we loved Antigua and having stayed at AntiguaBella definitely made the trip even better! Stayed Dec 22, 2018An incredible find. Away from the overcrowded resort area of Jolly Harbour but close enough to access the amenities. The villa was equipped with everything we needed for 6 of us (2 kids) to stay comfortably. My kids lived in the pool. On days we felt like more, Hermitage Beach was walking distance and Darkwood was a 7 minute drive. We were able to cook at the villa and enjoy dinner watching the sunset. An absolute amazing location and well kept site.
