Heated pool.Central A/C Stunning Views Almunecar Luxury Countryside Villa

Check in was easy and communication with Krister and Marita was good.The house is in a beautiful remote area about 20 mins drive from the coast. The local village, Jete has a well stocked shopped and the bodega in Jete has some lovely wines.The pool area and outdoor kitchen are the highlight of the property. A fabulous place to spend the day! We did some early morning walks. The hills are a challenge but worth the view from the top. A day trip to Granada was very easy. We arrived at the Alhambra at 8.30am and were home by mid afternoon to enjoy the pool.The kitchen was amazing. Very well equipped with so much more than your average holiday home. A very happy week with our adult children and their friends.

Amazing location, very clean, everything you need is there. The veiws are more amazing then you can tell from photos. Car required as you cant get an uber from there, but can uber to there. Very friendly owner, cant ask for more! 10/10

Five star ratings are easily given but this properly and host really deserves such a rating. The properly is set on a hill top giving strumming views . It is spacious, well equipped and presented in a very clean condition

We took over the whole property. It has 2 bedrooms in self contained ‘unit’ downstairs and 3 upstairs. There are many areas to sit both inside and out. The pool was fabulous and the views spectacular. One thing to note there are a few silent mosquitos so take repellent if you are prone. Fantastic kitchen and fully stocked equipment wise. The owner is delightful and very helpful. We arrived after a power cut and he brought in his friendly electrician to get it up and running. He was very responsive to questions. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

Great host and lovely home! We would do it again in an instant. We loved the quiet privacy and beauty of the home and surrounding country side; although it's away from the hustle and bustle of a town it's proximity to important sigh seeing places made this lovely to rest in or take off from to adventures. Thank you!

We loved our time at Casa Afrodite! The location is up in the mountains, which means you have the most spectacular views over the valley. It's a quick drive down to Almuñécar and it's easy to get taxis to and from the city. The house itself was very large and spacious with many wonderful outdoor areas to relax in. The rooms were all very comfortable and there were many bathrooms! Also a very large kitchen space. The hosts were very welcoming and told us everything we needed to know. I hope to come back again one day! Highly recommend!!!

The property was everything we hoped it would be: spacious, modern, clean and had amazing outdoor space. We hada wonderful week and enjoyed every moment. Just far enough from the beach and city to feel the peace and beauty of the mountains, but close enough to enjoy all the conveniences and experiences of the coast.

A peaceful and beautiful setting for a memorable holiday away from the crowds in a clean, spacious and very well equipped villa. Our friendly hosts Kris & Marita welcomed us and responded to our request promptly even providing a large paella pan for us to use along with home grown hot chilli peppers. As it says on the description, a car is essential as there are lots of great places to visit and eat - for which our host gave us details but we also appreciated just staying in the villa enjoying the views and watching the eagles from the terraces . We stayed with our three adult children plus partners and there was a comfortable amount of space for everyone. We would recommend this Villa and also that you pay attention to Kris's instructions on how to get there!

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful location. The house is well appointed and very comfortable and the views are breathtaking. Krister was an attentive host. Jete is a sweet village and the local shop has everything and is run by a very helpful man. Would highly recommend this house.
