Haus Salakova a lovely vintage stone house

We had a lovely week at the villa Edi and his family were extremely welcoming and helpful I enjoyed my evening aperitif with Edi and all is recommendations. Una the cat was adorable and visited morning and evening lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Edi was a wonderful host. He met us at the house, explained all the features and amenities, and gave us good recommendations: The home also has great outdoor living spaces which we were unable to use as it was still cool outside. Will be great in warmer months. Very quiet and comfortable beds.

Amazing place hidden at the end of the street. Perfect for a quiet vacation with enough to do around when needed.

We received a really generous welcome from Edi, a warm, charismatic and proud Istrian who speaks four languages (Croatian, Italian, German and English) and was very keen to share some of his locally-made Rakija flavoured with mistletoe (be warned, powerful stuff)! We had a great stay, despite poor weather, taking full advantage of the house and its amenities (outdoor BBQ area fully weather-tested). Would love to come back and experience it in better weather. Thanks again Edi, you’re a top host!

Edi and his wife Linda were great hosts. They greeted us and made sure we knew where everything was and how things worked. They were very friendly and offered lots to useful tips about the area. We loved the peaceful setting, beautiful view, and covered outdoor spaces. Shops and the city market are close by in Labin, so it's easy to stock up on provisions. We also enjoyed eating out and visited a great wine shop in Labin. The beach is down a steep road and requires parking in designated areas (free in the offseason). There's a lovely promenade along the beach that has great views of the water, islands, Rabac, and Labin. We found this house to be very relaxing and perfect for our needs. The many dining table options were great for us and there was plenty of sun & shade spaces for lounging. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

What a wonderful time we had in Edi and Linda's lovely house in Rabac. The fantastic covered outdoor kitchen became our favourite place to cook, eat and relax. There is even a dishwasher there! We enjoyed the little encounters with Edi when he came to feed the cat and let us taste the most delicious fish and pasta sauce. The house has everything you need and is very clean and cosy. It is located at the end of the street and is a quiet base for trips to beautiful Istria. Or the cosy seaside resort down the mountain. We felt so at home that we wanted to stay. Thanks Edi and Linda you are heartwarming people!

We loved our stay. Lovely location, peaceful, lovely view. Accommodation was clean and relaxing. We loved sitting outside as the sun went down enjoying the local produce. Host was friendly and after a long drive to arrive we received a lovely welcome. We recommend a stay here
