We have explored all over Florida and have spent lots of time in the keys including Marathon and Key West, as well as around Fort Myers and Cape Coral. We love the easy access to the beaches and local cities that Cape Coral provides. We are new to VRBO and welcome all feedback from our guests to ensure an excellent experience!

Boat available: If you are looking for a fun day of boating, you can join our Brother “Captain Adam” who will take you on an amazing adventure. You can explore the beautiful islands of Sanibel, Captiva & Boca Grande or enjoy the lively Fort Myers beach. I feel we have given a more than fair assessment of the property and the owner in our star rating. The listing states pool heat however it does not state that they only heat the pool for 6 hours a day, from 12 to 18.00 and only up to 82 degrees. Which in November is not warm enough to use. During our stay, the pool heater & pump broke down halfway through, and we reported this to the owner. It took several hours to convince the owner there was an issue and to get someone to come over to look. They did eventually send someone to look at it and it could not be fixed. However, they took 5 days to respond to our request to support us with recompense for the loss of use. The villa is nice, but we would not classify it as a luxury rental. It has some great features and furniture, but some basic elements are missing. Items like crockery and cutlery are limited and need updating, the kitchen is old and fragile to use. There is no outside dining table to sit and eat at. The dining table and chairs indoors are not usable, as the chairs are unstable. There is no lighting down by the dock which means that in the winter you can not use the dock safely after 17.30. There is no iron or ironing board, plus you can not access the garage. The lounge configuration is poorly laid out and it makes it uncomfortable to view the television. There is a ring doorbell at the property, which we did not really like, and we did find that the property manager entered the property to collect a parcel without letting us know. We are frequent travellers to Cape Coral, we visit normally three times a year. We would not book this property again. We always read reviews before booking, however, our originally booked accommodation was beyond repair following Hurricane Ian. This could be a lovely rental, however, the owner needs to make some improvements to the property and change the way they communicate with their renters. We reported our issue to VRBO while we were at the villa and they made contact with the owners twice to advise them to make contact with us regarding the pool issue, they also raised it as a formal incident. They advised that we need to use the feedback in an honest way to let future renters know about the issues. Therefore we are following VRBOs advice.
