Fully Renovated Beach Villa-Litchfield by the Sea! Short walk to beach and pool!

Great overall property.. close to beach and always has everything you can imagine you would need. This is our second time at this property and it was great like it was the year before. I would say bc careful with your laundry... we washed light colored clothes and they clothes all came out with blue randomly on them:/ we didn't wash clothes after that.

Villa was clean, beautifully and thoughtfully designed/decorated in the common areas. Plenty of space for big family meals both indoors and outdoors. Fully appointed kitchen with everything you could possibly need! Even storage containers for leftovers which was a treat! Highly recommend!

The property and amenities were excellent. The villa was spotless and kitchen appliances in great condition and working order. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning overlooking the marsh and birds. The location was an easy walk to the beach and pool. Attention to detail was thoughtful and appreciated. By far the best communication with the owner in my experience with VRBO. We really appreciated the state park pass too. I would not hesitate to book again.

This was our second stay here. It is nicely renovated, clean, and comfortable (including the beds!) with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry room (in the lockup downstairs). The outside space with marsh views is a great place to relax, and the beautifully landscaped walking paths are a great way to start and end your days. In addition, the beach truly is a short walk away, as is the pool. If you enjoy nature (bird-watching, seeing alligators, etc.), you will also appreciate the Huntington Beach State Park pass the owner provides to visit this amazing state park. You will be pleased when you arrive. This villa is in a secure and safe gated community. The beach is easy walking distance for young and old alike. Quiet surroundings, everything is in good working order, and clean. Host Scott is responsive and accommodating when/if needed. You will have his contact information. Information provided for check-in and check-out is easy to understand. Communication prior to your check-in date is organized and above average. Be respectful of the property and your damage deposit will be returned very promptly.

This is such a clean, well appointed VRBO. We will come here again. The hosts were quick to respond to our inquiries. The location is ideal to explore this area. It’s a lovely gated community with walking distance to a nice beach area. We were two couples traveling and the two bedrooms were equal in size with each having a bathroom. We were all very impressed with how kitchen items were clearly labeled and appeared new. Beds and sheets were clean and comfortable.

We discovered this place last fall after Hurricane Helene, and decided to make a return trip this fall. Last year I was struck by how clean, well organized, and modern it was - and it did not disappoint this year! This property has very nice amenities, a super comfortable bed and pillows, and wonderful touches for the guests like fresh roasted whole bean coffee and a Huntington State Park pass you can use to enjoy the park, which is right down the road. We made full use of the entry pass, biked over to the park and spent most of a day there. This is a great place for a quick beach getaway. I hope we're able to return next fall!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The condo was spotless and we appreciated the use of the washer/dryer and the beach chairs. The condo is well equipped and comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

This property was outstanding for our purposes. We wanted a few days at the beach, at the pool, on the tennis courts, and including easy bike rides. We achieved all! The greatest surprise was how beautiful and accessible Huntington Beach State Park and beaches were. The house was immaculate, fully stocked, and organized for lots of time cooking up seafood in the kitchen. We really appreciated this. Thanks for making this such a wonderful getaway for us, Scott!

The villa is exactly as described, very welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped and the deck is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The hosts sent a welcome guide full of information and restaurant suggestions. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We opted for a place to stay at Litchfield By The Sea that had marsh views, and we were not disappointed. The deck overlooking the marsh is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee. Everything else about this unit in Heron Marsh Villas is wonderfully updated. Comfortable beds

My friend and I came for a relaxing girls weekend and the condo was perfect! It had everything we needed for our stay and we were very comfortable there! The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will certainly be back!

This was the best organized rental we have used. Communication was exceptional, rental has been recently renovated and is very clean . Close to the beach and pickle ball courts. Litchfield is a great gated community. Highly recommend Barefeet retreat

The villa was clean and well stocked. It was a great location- near the pickleball/tennis courts and the beach. The community is close to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions. Communicating with the owner was excellent as was the guide that was provided.

This was a quick weekend getaway - and unlike most of my trips - spontaneous and unplanned. After weeks of dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, I decided a break was needed from the constant scenes of destruction... caution tape, debris piles, military convoys, water supply stations, portable showers etc. Boy did I luck out finding this property!! The newly renovated wording caught my eye, and I love Litchfield By The Sea. Amazingly this place was available on short notice and so off we went. It is a beautiful, spectacularly clean, and well appointed villa. The virtual guest info site was super helpful and the hosts were friendly and responsive. The beds were comfy, the linens high quality (I notice things like that! 😊) with simple, modern decor. Loved the deck furniture too. The kitchen was also very well stocked. Since we haven't had clean running water back home, we've been mostly eating pre-packaged food. When I saw how clean the villa's kitchen was, and how well stocked the cupboards and drawers were - I realized it would be fun to cook! Usually vacation for me is all about eating out and finding great restaurants. So this was a switch! But it was fun to find myself in an extremely clean kitchen complete with different types of cooking oil and even fresh unopened spices. There was also a coffee station with a fresh bag of coffee! Overall, I get the impression that the owners care for this place as if they themselves live there. I hope to return!!
