Fenced Private Pool, Walk to Beach, Air Cond-, Car Not Required, Wifi, 6 people

We had a super holiday at this brilliantly located Menorcan villa (2 adults and 3 teens). For the shops and restaurants, it was a quick walk left and for Cala Blanca beach, a quick, flat walk to the right, a lovely, sandy beach. The pool was great to cool down in and the aircon was good too. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We loved it!

I came on holiday for a week with my family, and we all loved it, even my three teenage daughters who are increasingly hard to please! Lovely little, well maintained pool and patio area with built in bbq where we spent many happy hours. Walking distance to a little supermarket, a pretty little beach, and several bars and restaurants (some nicer than others- the quirky ‘grass’ bar overlooking the beach was a teenage favourite!) Efficient air con, surprisingly comfortable beds, and a decent, living area, although we spent most of our time outside. The only minor gripe was that there were no staples at all, so for that week, we had to buy our own salt, pepper, olive oil, bin liners, etc.

The property was comfortable, and was well equipped. However it would have been better if the cups and saucers had been within reach. We had to clean all the patio furniture, so that wasn’t very good. There could have been some information on local attractions and transport etc. We were very handicapped because our mobile phone didn’t work, and we were without communication. We also thought the photos were extremely misleading as the property was a considerable way from the beach, and the photos seemed to suggest it was close by. However, there was a good supermarket, and a very good restaurant within a very short walk. Overall our impression was reasonably favourable.

We stayed in Villa Cimar for 3 weeks and we have cherished memories. The house has everything we needed to organize our meals, we could even do open air barbeques in front of the pool. So it was spectacular!! The house is in a great please, it’s a very quiet area and it has green all around. Even if it has this characteristics you can still buy things if you need it or have a drink next to the sea before dinner. Our kids could go to the beach or walk around without us having to take them by car. As for the house and it’s linen they where in perfect state. The owner very kind and gave us advise on what to visit. If we return to Minorca we are definitely staying in the same house.
