Stayed Aug 10, 2024We stayed at the Family house Daniela at the end of August 2024. The hosts greeted us on our arrival, even though we had been delayed collecting the hire car (which is essential). The villa is well equipped, especially the kitchen, with all the appliances and equipment that you need. There is also a 'summer' kitchen', which has a sink, fridge and a BBQ - the hosts had provided some kindling to make getting the fire going easier. The lounge/dinner/kitchen was a good size, but we found the corner sofa a little uncomfortable. There is a covered terrace with furniture, useful during the height of the day. There is even a kiwi plant growing which adds to the shading. The pool area was of a suitable size for the four of us in our party, but with three double bedrooms there were only four sun loungers; although there was seating for probably another eight in the summer kitchen, although this was fully covered. As other have said, the bedrooms do not have air conditioning, this is only available in the lounge area, but the hosts provided fans for these. Vinko and Daniela were very responsive and dealt with any queries of questions very quickly. The area was quite quiet, we heard the occasional aircraft taking off from the airport, but this did not cause any great issues for us. Similarly, the local dogs do sometimes bark a lot, but this is to be expected in a rural location. One suggestion: it would be useful to include the rubbish and recycling days in the house guide book.

Stayed Jul 20, 2020We had been looking for a little family holiday house with the garden, grill and the pool. The holiday house Daniela completelly met our expectations. The house had nice space for 2 families inside and also in the garden terraces. The garden was nice, shady, kept and perfect for all of us. Rooms in the house were not too big, but still adequate to live in. House was clean and nice, we appreciated a washing machine and a dishwasher, and also an air condition inthe living room. Location was great, not too far from the centre of Pula, beach, shopping centre (all about 10 min by car). We visited more of the beaches and found out many occasions how to spend various ways of the sea sports and activities. And finally we loved spending evenings by grilling and drinking a delicious wine from the local winemaker during our kids were enjoing the pool. Owner was friendly, nice and still on the phone anytime we needed something. We fully recommend this accomodation.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My family of my wife, my daughter (17), my son (11) and I had the most fantastic stay in this beautiful property for a two week summer holiday. The owners could not have been more helpful or friendly (indeed, we have invited them over to England !), and the property is every bit as good as the pictures and description would have you believe : immaculately clean, and well equipped, with fresh laundry and pool cleaned on a weekly basis, and offers a nice degree of privacy from onlookers. The location is perfect - less than 10 minutes from Pula airport, and also 10-15 minutes to the lovely city of Pula. but quietly situated in a nice, friendly village away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also only 5 minutes from the main North-South motorway, so could not be easier to travel and get around Istria. The local restaurant is quite good and a short walk through the village, and there is also a small supermarket and bar, frequented mainly by the locals. Unfortunately, during our stay, the best Konoba on the journey into Pula was closed due to the chef having had a road traffic accident, but finding a good place to eat is very easy in Istria. The pizzeria next to the go-karting track on the journey into Pula is ridiculously cheap (£30 for 4 pizzas with drinks) and very good indeed. During our stay we usd the villa as a great base to explore Istria, where there's loads to do : 2 fantastic waterparks, Zip-lines across the gorge in Pazin, Caves to explore, markets and pretty towns (esp. loved Motovun in the North, and Bale too), and the beautiful coastline with crystal clear waters. I highly recommend this villa to anyone.
