Exuma Sea La Vie - BEACHFRONT, Stunning views, Newly Updated at Hideaways

I cannot say enough good things about Kim and Exuma Sea La Vie. From the moment we booked she walked us through the planning of our entire trip. She answered every question, was so very responsive, and never made me feel bad for asking so many questions... and I asked many. She also made our daughter feel very special while we celebrated her birthday during our stay.The unit was perfect for our family of 3. Well equipped, I cooked every day except for 1. They had everything we needed and more. Don't hesitate to ask if they may have something you are thinking about packing- they probably have it and you can leave your things home and pack light. The beds were comfortable, the views were amazing, and you cannot beat the location- close to Georgetown and a good home base if you want to explore both ends of the island. We had a small issue with the sink and it was fixed before we returned from our outing. Everyone at Hideaways is friendly and helpful. We were there during some unusually cold weather- so we didn't get to enjoy all of the amenities- but everything was beautiful and it was way better than being home in the freezing cold.I highly recommend!! Hideaways is not a luxury resort. But it has very good amenities and this particular unit was fabulous. And, the owner continue to make upgrades- so it will just be even more fabulous.

Sea La Vie does not disappoint ! Excellent communication from your host will remove any uncertainties. The updates and finishes inside, compliment the beauty of Exuma immediately out the front door. We spent ten days starting with a cup of coffee, planning easy day trips from our location, or walking less than ten minutes to our favorite beach Jolly Hall. Sea La Vie will remain a top find in our travels. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful time at Sea La Vie. The view from the condo and the platforms were amazing. The owners had great communication with us before, during and after the stay. They were very warm and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We would highly recommend Sea La Vie to other renters. Again, breathtaking views! Sea La Vie was the perfect home base on Exuma! My family (4) stayed there for a little over a week and would absolutely want to come back! The location is fantastic- you are literally 3 steps from your front door to a private patio on the beach. So peaceful for a cup of coffee, and the kids loved being able to run and play there. You can easily walk to Jolly Hall next door. The resort shares ameninites- we used the paddle boards and kayaks and saw turtles, stingrays, and starfish right in the beach cove. The restaurant there is easy and fun- food was good! Pool is clean and easy to use, with lots of shaded lounge chairs. The house itself is very clean, bright, and inviting! The kitchen area is so thoughtfully stocked- really anything you can think of that you may need, they have for you! The master bed was memory foam and very comfortable, and showers have great water pressure. Really can beat waking up and literally stepping onto your porch to the beach. Location is great - like a 2 minute drive to downtown Georgetown (Sandpiper Cafe is delicious, the main Exuma market for groceries, and Minns water spots to rent boats). Kim and Jim are incredibly thoughtful hosts- very communicative and responsive before, during, and after the trip. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. It’s a gem!

Exuma Sea La Vie was absolutely perfect for our 7-day stay in Exuma. We loved starting our mornings with peaceful walks on Jolly Hall Beach and exploring beautiful spots like Coco Plum Beach at low tide. A boat day around Stocking Island with stops at Coconut Club and Chat ’N’ Chill was a highlight, and coming back to such a comfortable, relaxing home made it even better.The house was spotless, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Kim and Jim were exceptional hosts, and their attention to detail made our stay effortless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Exuma Sea La Vie to anyone visiting Exuma.

Sea La Vie is awesome. The unit was very clean and exactly as described. The hosts kept in contact with me making sure everything was going well and even found us accommodations after a flight cancellation. Waking up to the ocean outside your front door is spectacular. The property has all the amenities you would need and then some. I highly recommend staying here.

We were to arrive during the Melissa hurricane . Host was great responding and keeping us updated. Once we finally arrived it was perfect. View was awesome, people were friendly everywhere. We had mentioned to host we were celebrating a milestone birthday and she found a way to make it special. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

Our unit was absolutely as described. It was clean, stocked with essentials and beyond, the view was stunning and Kim answered all my questions and concerns within minutes. It was relaxing to watch the sun rise in the mornings. There was coffee pods in the fridge and spices in the cabinet. There was bottles of insect repellent in a basket that we were very thankful for.

We couldn’t be happier with Exuma Sea La Vie for our family of 4! The location at the Hideaways property was absolutely fantastic with an amazing view and direct access to the beach as well as the overall location of Hideaways in Exuma - close to restaurants, frequent shuttle service to Georgetown and awesome amenities. The inside was equipped with everything you needed as well as some extra things like beach towels, inflatables and some extra sunscreen / bug spray just in case you run out! We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

We loved our stay in this Villa. Jim and Kim were absolutely amazing and so very helpful planning our first family vacation to Exuma. Their place is stunning, and the view is incredible. Everything you need or want they have. Location is perfect. My boys enjoyed snorkeling and saw stingrays, starfish, sea turtle and a shark. I would highly recommend! Not to mention our flight was cancelled and we were able to extend our stay. 10/10 would stay here again!

This Villa was in a fantastic location and was very clean and well stocked with everything that you can think of. The owners Jim and Kim were awesome to work with and always made us feel at home throughout our stay. Would recommend this Villa to anybody!

We have stayed in this villa in the past when owned by someone else. The new owners have done amazing upgrades! The villa is well stocked, even thinking of things like an inflator for the included pool rafts. Didnt even have to take beach towels! Owners were easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze. We love the location and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay was amazing! We could not ask for a better experience. Sea La Vie is perfect - everything you could possibly need is there. So comfortable and easy and in the best location on the island. We loved Splash-a great perk to have a restaurant onsite. From the time we booked until we arrived back home - Jim and Kim were super responsive and helpful and offered up so much information and extremely accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental - I would say, don't even think about it - just book it! You will not be disappointed. Jolly Hall Beach that's within walking distance was really our favorite beach of all the beaches we visited. Exuma is beautiful, the locals are so nice and helpful and our little home away from home was perfect. I cannot say enough about our amazing vacation and our stay. Thanks to Jim and Kim for everything - you were such a contributor to our lifelong Exuma memories and we will be back! Until next time...

First off hats off to the owners for providing everything you could possibly need to enjoy your trip. The beach chairs and umbrella were so needed for going to see the other beautiful beaches on the island. Unit was well taken care of, clean, and the view was breath taking. Perfect for my wife and I and our 8 month old baby. The unit being on the beach made having a baby so easy, we could lay out while he napped (with our baby monitor) and enjoy ourselves. All the cookware we could need they had. And Hideaways proximity to George Town and Smitty’s Grocery made grocery runs quick so you can spend your time at the beach. Property owners were very responsive and helpful getting us set up with a pack n play and high chair. Be sure to do the walk along the beach to Jolly Hall. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful week at Sea La Vie! This was the perfect vacation spot for us. Located in the Hideaways property right on the beach! Cottage has everything you need, including spectacular sunrise views! We snorkeled offshore with stingrays, starfish and sea turtles. Thanks to our hosts for their hospitality, Janetta, the housekeeper, for stocking our groceries and Wade, the Hideaways property manager, for his assistance. Also, Cindy, front desk, for the Meet & Greet and the courtesy shuttle drivers for transportation. Everyone at the resort was so friendly and helpful. We are frequent travelers and this lovely Exuma property is one of the best places we have visited. Highly recommend!

Perfect size, beautiful view, can walk to Jolly Hall beach if it’s too windy to sit out on deck. Jim and Kim are perfect hosts. They go above and beyond to accommodate every need. Great communication. Comfortable well appointed Villa. Very friendly staff. We could not have been happier. Can’t wait to come back.

Simply put, our best vacation ever! It started with amazing accommodations and wonderful hosts, who proactively provided us with everything we could possibly need to travel to this amazing country for the very first time. An exquisitely clean, well equipped and perfectly situated bungalow on a breath taking beach. For a family of four or less , look no further than Sea La Vie. You will NOT be disappointed! We loved our stay here and we would highly recommend it. Being beach front was amazing and being able to walk to a variety of restaurants was very convenient. The cabin has been freshly updated with a new bed and a nice tv. Our adult son comfortably slept on the pullout bed in the living room and having 2 bathrooms was perfect. People at the resort are very friendly and we had a lot of fun.

We had a wonderful time at Sea La Vie! Can't beat the location and James and Kimberly were wonderful hosts. Great communication and they were so helpful. Highly recommend!

You will not be disappointed renting this unit. Kim is wonderful to work with if you happen to have an issue. The unit is well appointed, clean and great location. The Splash bar/restaurant on property is very handy after a long day exploring the island. The staff on property was wonderful to work with as well. The only unit that I saw with a foot bath by the front door to rinse sand before entering. You won't be disappointed staying here.

Kim and Jim are amazing hosts! They provided excellent information about the property and stayed in regular contact to make sure we had everything we needed. The brachfront location is spectacular! We had stayed at this property under the previous owner, and we are very impressed with the upgrades and enhancements Kim and Jim made to the cottage. It looks great, is exceptionally clean, and included many thoughtful touches and lots of storage options. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to visit again!

Super happy with our stay at Sea La Vie. Clean, looks to be recently updated with new bed and furniture. Beautiful mornings spent watching the sunrise right from the front porch!
