Escape to Paradise - Come In, Feel Good and Relax

One week before our stay the host notified me that our stay was cancelled due to hurricane damage and refused to give us any of our money back. We paid the full amount up front and he would not give us any of our money back because he didn’t “have” to. He was a jerk to communicate with and I wouldn’t recommend renting from him ever.

We enjoyed our stay. The size of the house was great for our family of 10. We enjoyed the pool, the kids even got in the hot tub. The kitchen pass through window was a fun little way to service the kids, but difficult to lock. They had plenty of beach towels, bath towels, kitchen was stocked enough for us. Coolers and a beach wagon was nice to have on site. There were no umbrellas, so we did have to find a place to rent a couple. We enjoyed everything about this home with the exception of one issue and the reason I am not giving 5 stars. There were cockroaches. This was a concern before booking the property and I assured the home is on a routine treatment schedule. However, we saw several the first two days we were there. We opted to have pest control come and found the dead ones the next day, but it definitely was better, we didn't see any after the service! Maybe the treatment schedule currently in place just is not effective and needs to be modified. Seeing them hanging out during the day just isn't a good sign.

Lots of room for our group of 8 family and friends. Backyard is gorgeous. Boat lift was useful for our one day boat rental.

Great space - we loved the pool area and it was bigger than expected! We liked that the hot tub was separate and the patio had a great view of the water. We had such a great time in this house and it was spacious so our family had plenty of room.

The property manager did nothing but lie the whole time about the condition of the property compared to the VRBO description. We will not stay at any of the listing that are run by Quality Home service property management. Our main criteria for a home was a boat lift and dock. We knew we would pay more but we were renting a boat. We liked the listing a choose this home. The company we rented the boat from looked at the house and said there was not a working lift. The VRBO listing said it had one. I spoke to Michael in July, October and November all being assured it boat lift would be fixed by then. I asked in July for another house with a boat lift and dock or to be let out of the contract for not having what was listed. I was assured it would be ready by Thanksgiving. I have never dealt with such lying before. Then Michael tried to blame it on last minute workers not coming and covid and so on. There was never a dock on property. The dock in the photos is for the neighbors house. I ask for a partial refund to which I got no answer other than he would ask the home owners. If you are looking for a truthful listing then do no book this house or this management company!

Pool is amazing

We had a nice week at this property. The house is huge - with tons of room to spread out. Kitchen is large with a good supply of tools to cook with. Best laundry room I’ve ever seen in a rental! The kids loved the pool table, piano, and especially the pool. The patio area is nice - large table, grill, lounge chairs. Hot tub was HOT (which is great!). We basically spent the whole time we were there in the pool. If you’re looking for a nice low-key place to spend a vacation, this is it!!!

Everything was good quiet location Michael was excellent to deal with loved everything about renting the property, arrival info, and departure info thank you for making our 50th so special
