Can I give a 10 star rating? This home was exceptional. Oh so serene and beautiful. That’s not even the highlight… our host was gracious and helpful while allowing all the privacy you could ask for. Perfect for all types of visitors. Several options for gathering space. The outdoor area, oh so beautiful. I’m not one to repeat experiences because I like to discover new places but I can say this would be an exception.

Great stay in a fantastic house and location. Couldn't recommend enough. Piece of tranquility and the boys enjoyed the pool.

My husband and I just spent the month of April in this beautiful home with incredible views of the mountains and the city lights of San Jose at night. It's a great location, close to Atenas but quiet and peaceful. The home is well equipped, furnished nicely, very clean, comfortable, has a great split floor plan and large open rooms. The Rancho and pool area where we spent a lot of time enjoying are fantastic and provide breathtaking sunsets. The hosts were very responsive from the moment we made our reservation and accommodating throughout our stay. Adrian the caretaker was so sweet, made check in and check out a breeze, was always available if needed while being respectful of our privacy. We really enjoyed our time at Villa El Sueno.Thank you Stephen, Denis and Adrian.

Beautiful house and area, smooth check in, clean accommodations, fast and helpful communication from host and property manager. Being close to the airport was a great bonus. We had a great time and would return!

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and had a fantastic time. Denis was quick to communicate and provide us with needed information upon arrival. He was able to suggest local restaurants that were all delicious as well as some local shopping stores. Adrian was very friendly and cleaned the pool daily without us even knowing. It’s a short drive into Atenas where there is plenty of food, exploring and shopping. We liked this specific area as it was in the middle of where we wanted to visit. We had equal distance drives to Manuel Antonio as well as La Fortuna. They were easy day trips. The house itself has everything you could need. Plenty of fans throughout the house and stand up fans in the bedroom helped if you are used to central air. Overall, I would definitely come back as another vacation for my wife and I or invite some family members as the 3 bedrooms are all spacious and the house itself has plenty of room. The laundry was an added bonus (less work to do when returning from vacation).

First and foremost, the location of this VRBO rental is simply breathtaking. Nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by awe-inspiring natural wonders, it provided an idyllic setting that surpassed all my expectations. The views from every angle were postcard-perfect, and the tranquility that embraced us was otherworldly. This place truly felt like a sanctuary where time seemed to stand still. But what truly made this rental exceptional was the impeccable service and hospitality we received. From the moment we made our reservation, they were incredibly responsive and attentive, ensuring that our every need was met. They provided us with a wealth of information about the local area, recommending hidden gems and activities that enhanced our experience. It was clear that they genuinely cared about our well-being and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of extraordinary.

House is in a neighborhood high upon a hill with great views during the day and at nighttime. The outdoor areas are well-groomed and the onsite keeper (Adrian) is very accommodating and helpful. Atenas has wonderful climate, year-round. The town has everything you'll need, though you will likely want to just stay put and relax.

Both Denis an Adrian went behind the duties you usually except. Every question or request was answered quickly. Little things that were of no concern to us they addressed for their own satisfaction We will definitely return Thank you both for making our vacation a lasting memory Bill
