East Hill Manor w/ 2 Kitchens Near Beach & Downtown

Wow, where to start…we booked 2 nights but left after one night due to the extreme disappointment in the property. Upon arrival, the house was overgrown with outside plants (which made it hard to even get out of our vehicles), cracked windows, mildew all over the front of the house, the driveway was so broken up we were afraid we were going to pop a tire pulling into the driveway, nothing like the picture shown in the ad.When we entered, it smelled damp and moldy.When we inspected the rooms, we found human hair, dirty grit and leaves on the sheets of almost all the beds. The bathroom upstairs was disgustingly dirty with beard shavings or body hair of some kind piled in the tub and peeling paint with water mark stains on the walls. The downstairs bathroom had roaches and the painted tubs were chipped and peeling as well. The air conditioner did not work well and kept resetting to 75 degrees which made for a horrible night of sweating and unrest. There was a window unit ac upstairs that wasn’t sealed to the outside so critters were welcome to come in. The counter appliances looked like they had not been cleaned in a long while. When we lifted a couch cushion to see if we could let it out, there was so much dirt and food debris we just put the cushion back on. They charged a large cleaning fee but it obviously had not been cleaned before we got there. The owners did not have good communication or customer service. Wish we could share pics of it all. Worst stay ever!
