Victor waited for us on arrival. Photos are matching the property really well. Very comfortable, lots of rooms, great location. We really enjoyed and recommend

We had a short stay with a large family group. The house was an old, fascinating building-but clean and functional.. Definitely good for groups who need some space to spread out. We enjoyed the garden terraces and the hot tub in the lovely spring weather. The location is close to the sights of downtown Roma, but removed enough to provide a peaceful respite after sightseeing.

I booked this property for a weekend in October 2024 for 14 adults for my birthday celebration. The host arrived at check-in time and gave us an introduction and tour, and made sure we were able to contact him. The house is as advertised in the photos and description. We had a few small issues which were resolved by the host. The location is good, but be prepared to walk as nothing is real close, and it's on the top of a hill. The host arranged catering services for the weekend, which was expensive and less than what I'd hoped for in terms of food.

This place is truly unique, and if there was an option for six stars I would have given them. That said, it is not for everyone. We were a family group of 3 separate nuclear families comprising 10 people from infants to grandparents. The compound has 3 separate living quarters which are all spacious. This made it easy for anyone who got tired to come back to a very comfortable oasis. The outdoor spaces encouraged hanging out for long periods. There were small kitchen facilities in each of the living quarters and we cooked one dinner on site. Our group loves walking and for us it was a fun and easy walk to all the sites/sights of Rome. It does require navigating some traffic and many steps however. You can easily walk to Trastavere in 15 minutes. What we most appreciated about the property was the space. There is NOTHING even close to comparable at this price this close to the sights. In addition Victor was amazingly helpful arranging pickups, drop offs, and getting us 2 pack and plays for the babies. So who would this not be good for? Well, there are many steps within the property, so if there is trouble with stairs this is not a good choice. Also, if you don’t like walking, you should be prepared to Uber a lot. Finally, the place has many idiosyncrasies which we mainly found charming -like “The Durrells in Corfu”. If you want true luxury a 5 star hotel in the city center would be a better choice.

Our party consisted of 9 people - we were all very comfortable, ample room. The property is absolutely gorgeous!!! Daniela and her brothers were very responsive and helpful! You will need Uber/taxi or arranged transport to get places.

We just had a magical stay at this villa with two families and children… looks better than the pictures…, we were easily able pop in and out of all the best tours and sites and restaurants and shopping just a quick cab ride away…. At night drinking wine on the patio while the kids jumped in and out of the hot tub…. Great coffee shop and walking parks just up the street… we would def come back and Great for two families to share.
