Cruso Creek is a Creekside villa with an interior that has been completely remodeled and furnished with cabin décor. It has a fireplace in the living room that can be used year round. It has a king size bed. The Living Room has a TV . It has a bathroom with a shower. There is a full kitchen(refrigerator with ice maker, range, dishwasher and microwave). This house also has a washer and dryer, so you don't have to pack a lot of clothes. Towels, wash clothes, and bed linens are provided. It has a nice hot tub on the covered porch, so if it happens to be raining or snowing, you will still be able to relax and enjoy it. There are also two chairs out on the porch to relax in as well. There is fast cable Wi-Fi and good cell phone service. It is located about 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown Waynesville. Downtown Asheville and Brevard are only about 30 minutes away.
The stay was nice. It was clean and they responded quickly. It was also easy tobfind and i drove in my sedan with no issues. For the cons when i first came in it smelled real bad like mold. Then eventually i realized it was a mop buckeg they had sitting at the entrance. If you have the same experience move the mop lol.I will note its a little less private than i thought with the location of the hot tub. In the spring i imagine the trees will give more road privacy but on my trip the cars passing could see through them. Its also a cabin split into two stays but noone was on the other side during my stay. Overall i enjoyed my stay and felt safe enough there to be alone.
We loved our stay in this out of the way mountain cabin. Close enough to surrounding towns while far enough away at the same time.
I would rather give it a 4.5/5 just because it was small things! The main issues was that there was some dishes that were very dirty in the house, and the picture made it look like there was a privacy fence around the whole back. However, the latter part can fall on us for that. Otherwise, the stay was fine and we had a good wedding anniversary! It’s much further than we wanted to stay outside of Asheville, but it was a quiet area!
I absolutely loved it here! Very clean and well put together! The sound of the creek while having dinner was amazing we will definitely rent again
Perfect Private getaway for a few days. Fairly close to town, but in a nice quite area. Perfect place to slow down for a few days.
This was awesome - we loved the place!!!
Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Sooo nice. Owner easy going and very helpful. I would recommend this property to family and friends❗️
The cabin is amazing. The fenced in yard was incredibly convenient for our dog. The cabin was very clean. There is laundry machines in cabin too which is great. There is a 2nd cabin connected to this one. There were others staying in it during our stay and we never heard them or even crossed paths. This cabin is 100% separate from the other one (no overlapping windows/doors). I 100% recommend this place, especially if you’re bringing a pet!
This cabin was very secluded and private but a little far from downtown Asheville. It’s about 40 minutes but other than that it’s a gorgeous little place to stay. Woke up and saw bamboo out of the bedroom window
Great cabin tucked away in the mountains. Wonderful spot for a retreat.
