Cozy and tranquil estate with Wifi

We arrived in the afternoon at the house and we immediately fell in love with it! The check-in is was super-easy and very practical. The house was very well ready for us and we found ourselves extremely comfortable. The air-con in the two rooms was particularly appreciated considering the big heat of August. The swimming pool is a great plus, as we used to spend the early mornings and late afternoons at the beaches, and we could spend the afternoons relaxing at home with a fresh release from the heat of the summer. The house is furnished with all needs: dishwasher, washing machine, pots and pans... Highly recommended! P.S. the road to reach the house is a small country road sided with stone walls, not very complicate to drive and we could reach easily the house with a station wagon. Still it requires a bit of care in driving to the house.

Overall a pleasent stay at the villa, although some things do need attention i.e. the missing step in the pool ladder, a general information folder explaing how cooker works, where to empty bins etc and advice on how to avoid mosquito bites would be welcome.

This place might have had rustic charm in the past; now everything is tending towards neglect though. Uncomfortable beds, old stain-covered towels, rickety outdoor chairs with wonky armrests, tatty stained mattresses on sun loungers, overwhelming smell of drains.....the list goes on. We were prepared to overlook most of these imperfections as long as we had a usable pool (our main reason for booking this property). However, on day 4 of our stay the water in the pool turned cloudy and bright green - very unpleasant to even look at. We reported the problem to the owner (by WhatsApp as she doesn't seem to live locally). Eventually her elderly mother arrived and started throwing some chemicals into the water. She also accused us of peeing in the pool (charming!) The pool remained unusable for the rest of our 10-day stay. After some prolonged discussions, the owner finally agreed to nominal compensation. Our holiday was almost ruined by this experience. Mallorca is a stunning place that is a potential holiday paradise. Shame about property owners who don't invest enough in their offer and abuse their guests' trust.

The location is a little remote, so definitely need a small car as the lanes that led up to the villa are very narrow with tight turns. It’s about 25 mins walk to Pollença town centre. The pool was a little cloudy and in need of a good clean as the inside walls were slimy ! But was lovely nevertheless. The villa is clean with a lived in look with everything you need, very traditional. We had a friendly cat who visited and a Donkey in the nearby field who was also very friendly and loved to let you no he is their ! The only disappointment was on the booking it stated we had to leave at 11am, but we awoke to find a lady in the kitchen cleaning at 9.30 , she then said we have a minute to leave ! Apart from that a very quaint villa that we would definitely visit again

It’s a beautiful property but needs work. Beds are not hugely comfortable, tv difficult to watch in the living room, very hard to park, bathroom shower drain a serious health issue

Our kids loved the pool and the garden and pool area was lovely for sunbathing and relaxing. Location great, only a 15 minute walk to Pollensa town with great restaurants. The owner was lovely and we had everything we needed for a great holiday.

Lovely, cosy Finca close to Pollensa, ideal for a small family (e.g. 2 adults and 1 or 2 children). Very helpful and lovely owners (we arrived late in the evening). Owners come to look after the property every couple of days (useful for questions). Plenty of useful items (highchair, travel cot) and plenty of toys for a toddler. Kitchen well equipped. WiFi in the house. Great patio and garden (February was too cool for the pool, but must be great in summer, likewise for the BBQ). There are some chicken nearby, so we even got fresh eggs and our daughter loved the donkey at a neighboring property. Walking distance to Pollensa town. We had a great time and will certainly come again! Thanks.

We had a very peaceful and enchanted stay at this lovely but basic Spanish Finca from 17th Aug to 31st Aug 2015– just how we like it. It is set in some lovely grounds with the property set in its own little paradise overlooked by tall trees and mountains. The pool is a great size and was perfect for all of us – kids preferred this to any beach. There are two bedrooms with air conditioning – need as we had a heat wave!!, basic kitchen and living area with a modern TV which kept the children happy in the mornings. Our daughter managed to find out how to translate the programs to English. There is a bathroom inside and outside bathroom with a better shower which we used more so. There is also an outside barbecue which we used most nights. You can park your car at the side in front of the gates, but it takes some manoeuvring. One word of note – you will need a car for the duration of your holiday. We had a Mercedes A180 CDI and this just fitted around the tight bends…I strongly advise to not get anything larger! The finca is perfect location for walking into the lovely Pollensa Old town – 15 to 20 mins– markets on Sundays 830am to 1pm and all the food you can eat. Supermarkets nearby as mentioned. We travelled all over the Island so this was a perfect base. It is perfect for getting away from it all, watching the stars at night and getting to know your loved ones a little better after the hustle and bustle of daily life. We made this a home from home and would definitely visit it again. To improve this little paradise I would recommend Wifi access – to allow communication with the very helpful owners and also to research the Island for places to see, and of course keep in touch with home, even though this is a retreat. Most restaurants do have free wifi though. Also a guide to the finca – instructions for pool light (switch is in pool house behind pool, ask owners), washing machine etc etc would be helpful.
