This is a fantastic villa for a family holiday, only a short drive to the local town of Messines, and 20 minutes to Silves. Water parks the zoo and Albufeira are all within easy reach but a car, I feel, is a must. The villa is very well stocked for kitchen equipment and the host, Adelino was very informative and helpful for places to visit. I can highly recommend a stay here.

Firstly it’s only fair to start with, this villa was one of the very few villas that had house hold goods in place, we didn’t need to go a supermarket for toilet rolls, dishwashers cleaner, salt & pepper. The villas location is great, away from the busy streets but only 20 minutes away from all main towns. Don’t be fooled by the area, a great supermarket not 4 minutes away !! We went the second week in July and the pool was a bit cold, the outside space is great, just as in the photos, just have to be careful of a couple of screws on the outer decking. Inside the villa is very comfortable, dining table and chairs for 8 but a sofa for 4, TV system works great. The kitchen is filling stocked with everything. Bedrooms upstairs very clean, very comfortable all bedrooms have air conditioning. The downstairs could use a unit in the lounge but we did buy a fan that worked very well. Maintenance within the villa is great, had no problems, outside is starting to show its age with the paving at the front door is uneven and a couple of cracks around the side and back. Would we stay at the villa again, yes

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful spacious house. I loved the layout of the property, quiet countryside, market 3 mins away, and so serene. Had lots of cookware for us to prepare meals. Would definitely consider coming back to stay again in the future. The host, Adelino, was quick to respond and helpful for any information that we needed. Sae

We had a great week with friends at Vila Carolina. The Villa is beautiful and well furnished, in a rural but stunning location, just a few mins drive from the village of Messines, and only 35 mins easy drive from Faro, and 20mins from the picturesque town of Silves. It was immaculately clean, and well appointed with everything you really need including towels and hairdryer (only 1 though). The garden is very secure and safe with plenty loungers and a couple of movable sun umbrellas, some more might be useful if the Villa is fully occupied, although it’s also lovely sitting in the shade under the veranda. Aircon is available in all the bedrooms and was more than adequate for the house, but the main downstairs living room & kitchen do not have dedicated aircon, but this was not really an issue for us. The main pool is not heated, but it is very well maintained, being cleaned twice while we were there. We suggested to Adelino a hot-tub/jacuzzi would be a real bonus for the Villa; something which we would have been happy to pay on an additional daily rate if he wanted to keep the overall costs down for those not using the tub. We all agreed we would definitely go back to this villa, and can highly recommend this for your next holiday/vacation or break in the sun.

We stayed at this property with two other couples and could not have asked for a more perfect place. It is modern, spacious and incredibly well appointed with four large double rooms and three luxury bathrooms. The pool and outside dining area are stunning and meant that we hardly ever wanted to leave (other than for trips to the golf course and the great supermarket which is around 3 minutes drive). The host Adelino was absolutely fantastic too. This is a perfect property for families or larger groups and we can't wait to return.

The villa was immaculately presented with huge bedrooms and plenty of living space. The villa was also very well equipped. Adelino (the owner) was absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough to help with any questions we had. Would highly recommend!! The only thing to mention is that a car is essential! But we didn’t mind that :-)

Had a lovely stay at Villa Carolina. The owners were very welcoming providing everything we were looking for, the fitments and cleanliness being of a high standard. We particularly enjoyed the pool and barbecue area where we had a number of memorable meals. We liked the area as it was quiet and peaceful but a car is essential to make the local towns and beaches accessible.
