Corte degli Ulivi: country villa and annexe for an exclusive vacation

This was a dream-come-true stay at a beautiful home in northern Lazio. Our group of 20 (8 adults and 12 kids) stayed four nights at this stunning property. The home is divided well so that each family (4) had their own space and privacy but with communal areas for visiting and dining. We especially enjoyed our dinner outside and the use of the grills. We loved the pool and the little sitting areas through the olive groves. Valeria was incredibly responsive--definitely the best check in of all the different places we stayed throughout Italy. The communication before, during, and after our stay was excellent. There is a property caretaker on site, and he was very helpful when having questions about the home. This is an absolutely stunning property in a highly underrated part of Italy. It was an excellent base for exploring hill towns in the region that are well off the usual tourist routes. We were so sad to leave after a few days--we could have stayed there for weeks it was so relaxing and wonderful. Thank you Valeria for such a great experience--it was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation and hope to return again some day!

Our hosts were most attentive! Any request was promptly handled with utmost respect. The property is nicer than the photos. It was very clean and well maintained. We had a group of 10 and found it offered privacy for each guest while having ample space to gather with friends.As a foreign traveler our hosts made it very easy and enjoyable.

Came to stay with a group of 19 people!The house was stunning! It’s so much bigger in real life than it seems! The apartments are well equipped and have everything you need. The grounds and pool are beautiful too. We visited in September, and the Sunsets from the property garden is breathtaking!Valeria was super helpful with the booking, and local tips and places to visit and eat. And Alice was amazing with any help we needed for the house. Also we got some fresh Aubergine and fresh tomatos from the gardens. Ana amazing stay. I’d recommend to anybody.

We just got back from a wonderful relaxing stay at this beautiful villa. The hosts were amazing with information and advice and Bi the villa guardian was always very helpful. The villa is in a perfect and relaxing destination and within close proximity of the amazing lake bolsena and stunning towns that surround it. I would definitely recommend eating in Bolsena. The pool is a perfect size with plenty of shade and sun bathing space. The villa itself is a beautiful building with a great layout and has everything you need. We were a family of 14 and it worked perfectly for us. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend this to everyone.

We stayed for a facility reunion form all over the world. The hiuse and hospitality exceeded our expectations and it was enchanted to say the least. We would go there again and try to create opportunities to go back. Thanks to Valeria and Be who kept us in a good mood and brought fresh fruits and vegetables every day! Thanks again

We stayed at the property to attend our son’s wedding at nearby Tuscania. There were 14 people staying at the Villa. Five apartments allowed each couple/family to have their own privacy. We loved being able to get together outside every evening for a group dinner. When we arrived, the Villa was exceptionally clean. Everything in the villa worked well and we had everything we needed for cooking However, being North American, we were not prepared for the moka stove top type of coffee makers, or the complete lack of condiments such as salt and pepper. This was easily remedied by a quick trip to the super Conad in Viterbo which has a amazing selection of fresh food. The smaller Conad in Marta, only six minutes away, is also a good place to shop for necessities. The groundskeeper Bi, was very helpful and treated us to baskets of fresh vegetables from his garden. Perhaps our favourite part was the pool which was kept exceptionally clean and had enough chairs for everyone to hang around the pool. Communication with Valeria and Bi was superb.

The twelve members of our family all agree that our two week stay was unparalleled to any other vacation that we have experienced. From the beginning, communication was easy Any questions that we had were quickly answered by Valeria. The accommodations were as described. The setting was very tranquil. In short, it was just what we were looking for. The villages in the surrounding area were quaint and picturesque. The estate worker, Bi, who was on site, was kind and friendly. He provided us with fresh vegetables and fruits almost daily. For us it was the right place to spend our vacation. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I honestly don't know where to start when reviewing this property....... from the moment of booking through to our last few days the commuication was excellent!!!! On arrival Olimpia made us very welcome (although we were delayed), gave us tonnes of information and introduced us the the gem of a man Singh! On first impressions the house and grounds far exceed expectations from the pictures online...... if you are a large group or two separate families like us I cannot recommend this place enough!!! 5 separate apartments housed 10 of us with plenty of space and privacy. Each apartment was very well equiped and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay including toiletires, slippers and even toothbrushes! The only downside for us as a group was we had to pool all the crockery together from each apartment and use the sole dishwasher for everything which was located on the second floor (we still will not be complaining). The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty to do. Lake Bolena is gorgeous and has lots of little towns on its shores for exploring. The more adventurous can hire speed boats, pedalos and much more. Now back to Singh........he showed absolute discretion when maintaining the vast outdoor space and pool yet was there in minutes if you needed anything (as was Olimpia via WhatsApp). Through our stay we would awake to a basket of goodies from Singhs garden and these veggies became a delicious barbeque staple so thank you Singh. If you are looking at this property then do not hesitate in booking!! We cannot wait to go back X

Very spacious and beautifully furnished country house with a huge outdoor pool nearby the Bolsena Lake. Everything is spotless, totally new and very well maintained. The owners, Valeria and Guiseppe, are adorable and made sure that we really felt like home. They provided us with great restaurant, shopping and sightseeing tips and even put up several water coolers for free use. The caretaker of the premises, Mr. Singh, took perfectly care of the pool and the lawn and even brought some veggies from his own garden from time to time. We stayed there for a family reunion with a group of 17 people including children and elderly and everybody enjoyed their time. We will definitely come back!
