Comfortable villa in Punta Montgó with spectacular views, pool and garden

WELL LOCATED HOUSE WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY: THE HEILIGHTES WERE THE VIEW OF THE SEA, THE POOL AND THE WONDERFUL SUNSETS THAT WE OFTEN ENJOYED SITTING AT THE POOL WITH A DELICIOUS GLASS OF RED WINE:We will definitely come back again.

A spacious house with a gorgeous view. A caring host, nice facilities and near beach, restaurants, shopping and all in walking distance. We did indeed enjoy our vacation in Escala.

Nice property in a lovely location with great views. We enjoyed our stay overall. The bath does fill very slowly and you need to turn off the cold at the wall to make it work and the shower head in the other room needed a few hairbands to keep it in place. Other than that, no problems and we enjoyed exploring the area. If you have small children be aware they could walk through the banister rails because they are widely spaced. We had to keep an eye on our two year old whilst upstairs all of the time. In truth, he never actually realised he could have got through so we didn't have a problem.

very dirty. We had to clean the whole house. the glasses of the bathroom horrible. There is no pressure in the water in the showers. Ants everywhere. there is no air conditioning. the door handles are very loud.

Lovely large villa plenty big enough for 6 adults. Wonderful location and views. Plenty of room around the pool and in the shade for relaxing. Easy access to beach and supermarket with some lovely restaurants and bars. Use of car is an advantage to access larger supermarkets where you can buy fish and meat to bbq at the villa. Margarita was very helpful beforehand, was very flexible with regard to our arrival due to heavy traffic and kind enough to help us with other enquiries we had. Would definitely recommend booking to others.

We had a very relaxing holiday here. You have everything you need close by. We had stayed in Cadaques on our way down and done some sight seeing whilst there, so we parked the car at the beginning of the week and didn't move it until we left. Margarita and her mother were very welcoming even though we got there an hour early and it was good to know that we could call if we had a problem, we didn't need to. We have 2 teenagers so we took advantage of the water sports at the beach, paddle boarding and kayaking. The pool was a welcome relief from the heat. There is a supermarket close to the beach which has everything you need, ask Margarita to show you the quick route. The villa was clean and well maintained it had everything that you would need. The bedrooms were good sizes, two of the had access to a balcony with the best views.

A lovely well equipped villa in a wonderful location overlooking Montgo Bay and the mountains and sea. Totally agree with the last reviewer, not far from the beach. shops and restaurants, easily reached, but you may need a car for the climb back. We loved the bar on the beach for a cold beer and tapas! Margarita is a delightful lady, meeting you on arrival, and only a phone call away if you need any help. Would highly recommend this villa, and it's a great place to base yourself to explore the region.

This villa is fantastic in every way, in a superb location with panoramic views all round. Not far to the beach and restaurants but be prepared for the uphill trek home again! So if you struggle with walking then not recommended but fine with a car! Margarita is lovely and friendly and she is there to greet you on arrival and for any help/problems throughout your stay she is just a phone call away nothing is too much trouble for her! The area does not cater for English as mainly French and Spanish but this is excellent to experience their culture. Beaches are superb very sandy and L'Escala is a beautiful town and Sant Marti is worth a visit!

Our family group stayed in villa jana in L'Escala early June. The villa is situated on a headland called montgo and has views of the sea on both sides. We were met by the owner and her daughter who couldn't have been more obliging. The villa itself is spacious and comfortable with every modern convenience, we wanted for nothing. There were 8 in our group including a baby but there was the option to sleep 2 more as there was a sofa bed in the living area. The owners provided us with extra towels for the beach, a baby buggy and play centre following email requests. The gated pool was great to keep a busy toddler safe. The area is lovely and quiet with a well stocked supermarket at the bottom of the hill near the beautiful montgo beach. Check out can miquel for a brilliant menu - delicious and very reasonable. L'Escala town is a 5 minute drive away or a 50 min walk to the old town which is lovely. Would highly recommend this villa and we are seriously considering going back again next year.
