Charming villa with private pool and cooker

We spent 2 weeks in this very special house on a family holiday with Grandparents and teens. The house is so comfortable it’s hard to leave. A car is pretty much essential to ensure you get out and explore the lovely region. Najat the housekeeper is an asset to the house and will prepare breakfast every morning if wanted. She also cooked lots of wonderful traditional evening meals when we wanted. Omar keeps the pool spotlessly clean but you hardly see him as he visits early. Nicolas the owner is great with communications and is available constantly for any queries. We loved Essaouira, the medina is small and relaxed. Quad biking, surfing and horse riding are all enjoyably activities that are available that we enjoyed. The rooftop bars are great places to enjoy the sunset hours we particularly like Il Mare. We loved this holiday and would love to return in the future. The local kids are really sweet and we ended up bringing them sweets and chocolate most days from town.

We had a wonderful five-day stay at this beautiful villa. It is so well equipped and spacious with lovely gardens and a huge pool! It was really hot so we really appreciated the pool and spent lots of time there. We didn’t hire a car so used taxis to get in and out of Essaouria in the evenings, and it was very straightforward. Najat, the housekeeper, is a real asset to the villa and prepared breakfast for us every morning…such a treat! She was also a great help with local information and booking taxis. Thank you Najat! A great stay and we would highly recommend.

From start to finish we had excellent communication from the owners. The house is beautiful and tranquil and very comfortable. The owners alongside their housekeeper Ohma helped us to arrange transfers , car hire and anything else we needed including a delicious home cooked meal on our arrival. Essaouira is a great place for families to get a taste of Morocco we found the people to be very friendly and welcoming everywhere we went. You can experience the hustle and colour of the markets without the hard sell ! Sellers are happy for you to just look and if you do want to buy you will find more genuine artisans and better prices in Essaouira than Marrakech . Don’t miss the fish market!! The villa was only 10 mins drive from Essaouira, there was a big Carre Four supermarket on the way in where you can get everything you need to self cater there is plenty of parking on the road along the beach easy walking distance to the Médina and it only cost 10dhr for however long you like avoid the small car park at the top directly opposite the Médina it’s more expensive and you may get back to your car to find you are completely blocked in ! The owners provided us with lots of recommendations for exploring the local area we found the roads easy to drive and pretty straight forward to navigate . All in all a fantastic first experience for us all and we will definitely return.

Very good holiday in a really good villa and with a wonderful pool and garden area. Omar, who looks after the property, is a really kind man who really tries to ensure you enjoy your stay. Food prepared by his wife was most enjoyable. The only downside to our holiday was a dog barking throughout the night behind one of the bedrooms which interfered with sleep. That aside we had a fantastic holiday thanks.

We stayed in the house for 4 days and totally loved it! Would recommend it for both families or groups of friends. Beautiful house and a perfect swimming pool! Totally worth the price!

We loved everything: the ample space and layout of the house, the multiple lovely spots to sit and have meals, inside and outside, the spacious pool, the roof terrace, the thoughtful lighting, the well prepared meals at home, etc.etc.! Would love to stay again!
