Stayed Jun 4, 2022The house is really homely and well equipped. It also has a very pretty garden with plenty of garden furniture. The only thing I would say is that the hot tub is not work and although it didn’t bother us it might be a disappointment for others, so the details need to be updated.

Stayed Apr 20, 2019We have just returned from spending Easter week at Ste-Cecile, the property was perfect and there was enough equipment to keep our 4 and 6 year old boys entertained, they absolutely loved the garden with sand pit and giant chess board and the beach is literally a 2 minute walk away, there are shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk and Le Touquet and Boulogne are within 30 mins by car. Will definitely look to return here in the future.

Stayed May 27, 2017This is a very nice property. The gardens are beautiful with plenty to keep our 2 kids (aged 7 and 4) happy including a swing set, a sandpit, a skittles lane and plenty of other activities in the garage (table tennis, french billiards, bikes). There are also plenty of sun loungers and a conservatory for the chillier days. Inside the apartment is clean and tidy. My only real criticism is that the kitchen is a bit on the small side, although we didn't do much cooking because we were enjoying the local baguettes too much. The location is wonderful too - 2min walk from a long sandy beach and we found plenty of well-signposted nature trails as well. Beach equipment is kept in the garage along with a trolley, making it easy to transport buckets, spades and body boards to the beach, which was practically empty every time we went down (early June). The owners are very friendly. We had a great holiday and I would definitely recommend this property.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Absolutely the best place to stay if you want to be near Le Touquet but also just literally 2 minutes walk at the end of the road to the beach! Impeccable house in every way. Beautiful, clean, tidy, well equipped kitchen, beautiful garden, all mod cons, amazingly helpful and kind owners that are never far away if needed! We will definitely be returning, but book in advance as they are extremely popular as you'd expect. There's also a great supermarket 5 mins drive away. I hope we see you again soon Madame Graillot! Thank you so much.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have just come home from the most wonderful week at Le Tamaris and we were surprised to learn we are only the second English group to stay there. This is a beautiful gite which is full of character and style, cared for by the lovely Francine and Dominique. The gite is situated a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 3 minute drive to the D940 (which joins Boulogne, Etaples and Le Touquet, all of which are worth a visit). It sleeps 4 persons, plus a baby in a travel cot. The bed arrangement is 1 double and two singles (which can be pushed together to make a double), beds are comfortable and the linen is fresh, clean and suits the décor of the room. The rental cost is really reasonably priced and sat well within my tight budget. Both Francine and Dominique are working on their English (and we are working on our French) so most communication was done via text which made things fantastically easy. The kitchen was well equipped, with the exception of a microwave. Those with babies can use the dishwasher for sterilsing bottles. A good sized fridge and freezer means you can do your big shop at the beginning of the week to avoid having to nip out for bits. Bad weather days can be dealt with by basement games (electronic darts, french pool, ping pong and a table football game) or visiting the local Aqualud at Le Touquet (a brilliant water park). The kids were happily playing in the well cared for garden - on the swings, in the sand pit and playing gigantic chess. Sunny days spent on the beach, at the Opal Adventure tree top walks were great for the kids (and brave adults), they felt very safe and well priced - don't forget your mozzy spray! and walking up to St. Cecile for an ice cream/ dinner. The wifi can be a little temperamental and so we would recommend that this is something they could address. We highly recommend this gite and the surrounding area for a relaxing, fun holiday.
