Stayed Jul 1, 2024We loved this property. We were a group of 12 friends and family traveling together. We wanted a place away from all the major areas that we could explore, yet still get to major attractions easily. This was a lovely rustic family home that has been well kept. The pool was amazing for our down days and the kids loved it. If you are looking for modern amenities this is not for you, but if you enjoy the rustic feeling of years past this is great. The owners were wonderful to work with. Would love to visit again.

Stayed May 7, 2024The grand old house is spacious and has a corner for everyone. My first time in a 500 year old home. Gigantic pool for swimmer's and sun lovers, lots of seating outside in shade or sun. AC works great and heating for cool evenings. Silvia was a great host very available, helped with restaurant reservations and provided a great meal one evening assisting her mother. We loved it for remoteness, freeway about 15 min. great restaurants 2 or 3 and only 5 min. away. Fiorensa 55 minaway. Great for big parties of guest, good kitchen with a fireplace we enjoyed daily. Location is a hit, hi recommendations.

Stayed Sep 9, 2023We can highly recommend this house. The owner Silvia and her family took great care of us. The dinner prepared by Silvia and her mother on site was really a pleasure. The large pool was used intensively. The spacious house is lovingly decorated.

Stayed Jul 9, 2022We could not have been more happy with our stay at Casa Nava in Campogialli. The house is magnificent and so spacious that despite being a big family, it never felt too crowded. The history of the house is incredible and yet it is well maintained and had everything we needed. The pool and airconditioned bedrooms absolutely saved our sanity during this summer's heatwave! Our vacation was a perfect combination of enjoying what Tuscany has to offer with its many wonderful towns and relaxing at the house. I highly recommend!

Stayed May 24, 2018We’ve had a perfect stay in this beautiful villa, situated in the Tuscan hills near Arezzo. Biggest pros: its spacious pool, the many seating arrangements in and around the house, its welcoming host Silvia and the delicious meal she and her mother cooked for us on our first night. A lovely destination for a (in our case) long weekend with friends!

Stayed Aug 3, 2017Silvia and her family were impeccable hosts. 10 of us gathered from around the world to vacation in Tuscany and Our experience could not have been any more perfect. The house lent itself beautifully to the size of our group and having to pool in the hot weather was an extra added bonus! Thank you Silvia and family for helping us to navigate the trains, find the shops we needed, find the best restaurants, and for taking care of us so generously. We all leave with a feeling of having shared something really special. Thank you?

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A very large spacious and comfortable house. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating and ensured the house is very well equipped with every amenity. The pool is huge and the garden is charming. There are lots of space to relax and enjoy the property. All the rooms have fan units, anti mosquito devices and insect screens. The bedrooms were comfortable and relaxing. The only things to be aware of are that one double bedroom can only be accessed by walking through another bedroom and as it's a rural location the wifi signal is weak and could struggle when lots of people were using it at the same time. Overall we had a great holiday and would recommend this as a great location for a group holiday in the Italian countryside.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a very beautiful villa located in the middle of Tuscany. Easy driving to Siena, Florance and Arezzo but also to the big supermarket in Montevarchi (20 min drive away). We arrived to the villa on Saturday the 11th of July and had booked Mama to cook us dinner (we were 5 adults and 4 kids). The dinner was amazing italian food, including wine and dessert (we had enough food for lunch the following day). The pool is HUGE and we spent most of our time (when we were home in the villa) by the pool. Lots of sunbeds and enough space for everyone to find their own little corner here and there. With all the positive is also a few negatives. 1) The villa does not have any airconditioning, which means the nights are VERY hot. We had a modern fan in our room, which indicated 33 degrees C every night - that is hot. So to compensate the heat, we had to sleep with open windows, which meant we had tons to mosquito bites. 2) The pool was not cleaned during the week, so it was not too nice looking at the end of the week. 3) There is a dog pen built next to the villa. The dogs bark A LOT. Coming in and out of the villa means the dogs are barking continuously. The bedrooms facing the dog pen complained about noise during the night and in the morning. The dog pen should be moved away from the villa. 4. There was transition in the electric appliances in the kitchen so you got shocked when touching the dishwasher, coffemaker etc. when they were on. The above negatives cannot take away the fact that the villa is great and within easy driving distance to wineyards, great restaurants and so on.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had stayed at Villa Nava several times over the last 12 years. It gives us great pleasure to renew our acquaintance with the old world Villa. To stroll through the many beautiful rambling rooms and remember the good evenings we spent there. On arrival, we had pre arranged to have a traditional meal prepared for us by Mrs Nava. We were wined & dined in style. Most of our time was spent lazing and reading by the beautiful pool. (The photos do not do it justice.) Situated between three small towns / villages, we walked the country roads and stopped by for a coffee & pastry in the little shop in Campogialli on the way back. Dinner, to die for, we had in La Torre, a restaurant in Loro Ciuffena. A glass of wine or Sambuca in the Central Bar while watching the village wind down for the night, was a perfect way to end another great Tuscan day. We are already making plans to return.
