The hosts were extremely helpful with everything. We visited several towns and restaurants that they recommended and they were all excellent! The property is beautifully maintained.
We had a wonderful month at this adorable home. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. The location affords access to many charming hill towns and sites. Cesare and David provide so many great suggestions that you can’t possibly do it all. They were great!
Great central Tuscan location on a large property. David and Cesare were very communicative, helpful and a pleasure. Lots of very informative and helpful info given. If there was anything you needed, David was there. Our car battery was dead at the train station after we parked it for a couple days to train to Cinque Terre. We reached out to David and he was there in 30 mins with help! Way above and beyond. This location was great as we were very central, we did out and back “day” trips but then also headed out a few times for overnights leaving our bags and only taking backpacks with us. Absolutely beautiful property with warm, helpful hosts and a HUGE friendly dog whom we just loved. Would definitely stay here again if looking to stay in a Tuscan countryside
We just had an absolutely amazing week in Tuscany and so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa! It was clean, had every amenity needed, and the hosts were wonderful to give us ideas of things to see and places to go. They were very accommodating and helped to make sure that we felt safe and welcomed. The house and especially the grounds were spectacular! Doesn’t get much better than that! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful place with us! I’d highly recommend it to anyone coming to stay in Tuscany!
La Colonica is set in beautiful gardens with stunning views. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay however long it is. David and Cesare are the most gracious of hosts and are available to assist whenever they can. Many hillside towns including Cortona and Montepulciano are only an hour away. You will not be disappointed in your stay at La Colonica. Thank you again David and Cesare for your hospitality.
Absolutely gorgeous house and property with extremely helpful hosts!
La Colonica was our (4 adults 60+) 2-week Tuscan home and exceeded our expectations in every way. The setting was perfect, private, quiet, facing east overlooking an olive grove with the Apennine Mountain range in the distance providing breath taking sunrises. An easy stroll into town for your gelato. Equally short drive to great food and experiences. The property owner and staff were always available and helped guide us to many memorable meals and places to see. The guidance they provide is invaluable and will guarantee a wonderful experience. We miss Cesare, David, Aura and Asian already.
We had a wonderful trip. House was just as described. Good position for numerous day trips and owner gave us lots of info for day trips. Spent a month there in end of August and September and very comfortable,
A perfect home base to explore Tuscany. The home was nice and quiet, with beautiful gardens, and central to so much, including the charming town of Marciano, a short walk away. David and Cesare were so helpful with tips and advice. Very highly recommended.
In a great location in a small town. The property itself is gated and cared for meticulously, with an olive grove behind. We could get to a lot of places in a short amount of time. The owner had put together in English a list of things to see, walks, and restaurants which was so helpful. The property was renovated with nice finishes and 2 main suites. Great for couples traveling together or in our case sleep issues. Everything you could need is there. Any issues are taken care of very quickly since the owner lives next door. He obviously cares very much about his property and his guests.
