Stayed Aug 16, 2025The house is beautifully decorated and the communal areas are very spacious. The garden looks to have been recently landscaped and, along with the pool makes a lovely outdoor space. We were a group of ten and the space worked well for us with four teenagers sharing the garden studio (which is compact but well designed). Salema itself is our new favourite place in the Algarve, we absolutely loved it and couldn’t fault it. We enjoyed eating out in the pizzeria, Boia and Agua na Boca (the latter being a more formal restaurant). Hans and Will were very responsive and helpful when we experienced teething issues. The only criticism I could voice is that more/better pillows would make for an even more comfortable stay. The beds themselves were very comfy! Thank you.

Stayed Aug 31, 2024This was our second time here and it was as lovely as the first. The pool area was great, especially so on a few windy days as it is well sheltered. We spent almost all our days by the pool or at the beach - Salema beach is beautiful and a short (steep) walk away - or on the upstairs terrace. The home is really well laid out with plenty of space to relax. We ate in the nearby restaurants and would thoroughly recommend Em Lume Brando and A BOIA. We are already planning when we can come back.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024Overall stay was very good, well equipped and maintained property with stunning views out to sea. Two refrigerators which was great for a family of ten. We did feel the convenience of the location was a tad overstated give the extremely steep hills coming back up to the Villa from Selema centre as with two seventy year olds and three children under four car journeys were ess

Stayed Jun 29, 2024Property was ideal for a family holiday two sets of grandparents and grandchildren. Everyone really enjoyed the pool. The photographs do not do it justice the property is 5 star all the way. Well kitted out including barbecue and 2 fridges. The only downside its at the top of a very steep hill. We would have no hesitation booking again. We had a couple of small issues which where rectified very quickly after contacting Hans and Wil. Super holiday was had by all.

Stayed Jun 8, 2024This is a nice house with excellent outdoor space. It would have been nice to have more bedroom storage as ours was a 2 week vacation including family who travelled from 4 different countries and the cupboards in some of the rooms weren't really adequate. Everyone loved the decor and the beds were comfortable. This was our first experience of arriving at a villa that did not have a welcome pack/hamper. Our previous villa hosts left a full fridge of wine, beer, cheese, crackers, coffee, tea, bread, water and other treats. Not even a bottle of water was disappointing and surprising.

Stayed Jun 1, 2024We were hugely impressed with this beautiful villa in a stunning town. The photos don't do this property justice. All the communal space is larger than it appears and makes for excellent hosting. The villa was clean and spacious in a quiet/private street with excellent location to the shops, beach and local restaurants Salema is a quant town with a great choice of restaurants and an unspoilt beach. We had a pram with a toddler and everywhere we went was accessible and family friendly. There are some steep hills down to the town but it's a very short walk. We'd love to come back to this location.
