The Space:
On the ground floor, you’ll find a main bedroom with a full bathroom, a bunkbed bedroom with a half bathroom, an extra guest bathroom, a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and indoor and outdoor dining areas. Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms and one bunkbed bedroom, including a master with a private bathroom while the others share a spacious bath. Surrounded by gardens and palms, the villa offers magical sunrises and sunsets, just a short walk or quick drive to the beach, surf, and restaurants.

Guests will enjoy full private access to all six bedrooms, the spacious living room and lounge areas, the fully equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining spaces, as well as the private pool, deck with pergola, gardens, patio, balcony, and laundry room. Yvonne, the hostess, lives in a separate section of the property with her own entrance and kitchen. She’ll be close by if you need any assistance but will always respect your privacy.
The Neighborhood:
Playa Venao is one of Panama’s most iconic beach destinations, known for its consistent surf that’s perfect for beginners as well as advanced surfers. The area has a lively and welcoming international atmosphere with yoga studios, surf schools, cafés, and beach bars just minutes away. Dining options are abundant, offering everything from fresh seafood and Mediterranean dishes to pizza, vegan meals, and local Panamanian flavors. Whether you are here for surfing, relaxation, or adventure, Playa Venao provides the perfect blend of energy and tranquility.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended since Casa Vida sits on a hill with sweeping views of Playa Venao. You can rent a car in Panama City and drive, or we can help arrange transport from the city by shuttle or by plane to Pedasí, with a rental car waiting for you on arrival. Once in Venao, the town itself is walkable. Staying without a car is possible, though the uphill walk back to the villa can be tiring. Another convenient option is renting electric scooters on the beach to move around easily.
Other Things to Note:
Playa Venao has two distinct seasons. From December to May, the weather is hot, sunny, and breezy, making it perfect for long beach days—just don’t forget your sunscreen. From May to November, tropical rains bring lush green landscapes and dramatic skies. Occasionally, power outages may occur, but Casa Vida is equipped with a generator to keep essentials running smoothly. The property is pet-friendly and allows dogs for an additional nightly fee. Please let us know about your pet before confirming your reservation so we can share our Pet Guidelines.
Interaction with Guests:
You’ll access the villa using an entry code, allowing you to enjoy complete privacy during your stay. However, we’d love to personally welcome you! Just let us know your estimated time of arrival, and we’ll be there to greet you. While you’re free to relax and unwind, we’re nearby and always available should you need assistance, local recommendations, or anything else to make your stay even more comfortable. Feel free to reach out at any time!
Kind note: Yvonne, the house hostess, has a private section within the property with her own entrance and kitchen. While your paths are unlikely to cross, she’ll be nearby and happy to assist if you need anything.
