Casa Pazovida - Walk to Carvoeiro, a perfect blend of convenience, comfort and luxury!

We had a wonderful stay, beautiful villa and grounds. We had the pool heated and it was excellent. Katherine has been super helpful from start to finish. Thank you for a lovely break.

The accomodation is excellent and freshly decorated, bathrooms all feel new. Comfortable beds, great showers, modern, well equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher coffee machine etc. Pool catches the sun all day and is very private with lots of good sun loungers. Good BBQ. Reasonably secure with gated drive. Elite are very responsive. We actually like having less housekeeping and getting bedding and towels changed twice in two weeks was perfect for us. We’re more than capable of keeping the place clean and tidy ourselves. Would love to stay again. Minor improvement would be some curtains which would also stop noise travelling through the house, it echos quite a lot.

The villa is a fantastic size and there is lots of space. Although, I wouldn’t say it’s overly suitable for people with mobility issues due to the layout and location from the town centre. The pool is by far the villa’s best feature! It’s huge. There is a safety gate to stop young children accessing the pool from the terrace, but there isn’t one on the lounge door so we had to keep this locked the whole time. The villa is looking a little tired in places (eg wall plaster crumbling off, missing/cracked tiles and damp patches on the wall in the lounge. It wouldn’t stop us staying here again, but it would be great if these can be resolved for future customers. I would also say it needs a deep clean in places . The gardens are lovely but slightly overgrown. We also saw a couple of rats during our stay, so would suggest looking into that. Our biggest issue was that maintenance people would turn up at the villa unexpectedly. Whilst we appreciate this can be difficult to manage, it’s unsettling when random people just turn up unannounced and are walking around the property.

This is a great villa and we had a great stay. Constructive feedback: there was no housekeeping, which would not have been a problem, but the utility room was locked and marked 'private' so we were unable to access the washing machine or a broom, we had no change of towels and were unable to sweep the kitchen/bathroom floors. The outside (pool) lights did not work so had to barbecue in the dark; the agents were unable to resolve this. The only mirrors were in the bathrooms - none in the bedrooms. Finally, a constantly dripping overflow pipe left the outside path around the villa constantly wet, slippy and dangerous.

Great elevated position made it very private. Everything you need is within walking distance. Very secure property and grounds. Inside is of a high standard. Great sized pool. The toilets in the main bathroom and en-suite leaked after flushing creating a smell. Fix the loose and broken tiles at the poolside. A few of the interior door handles were loose which require fixing.
