Casa Patrizia, Private Pool, Walk to restaurants, Barga!

The villa offered us everything we needed for an extended stay in beautiful Barga. The owners were lovely and provided us with everything we required. The pool area and views from the terrace in particular are stunning. We like to cook and we had pretty much everything we needed to be able to do as we liked. The sleeping areas are fine. Two things to keep in mind. There is no air conditioning so you need to be careful and use the shutters and windows to best effect. The second is the hill leading to the town centre. It takes 15 - 20 mins to walk there, all uphill. This wasn’t an issue for us but might be for some. All in all I would definitely recommend this villa.

Amazing! Super clean in a most picturesque location in tha Apuan Alps with great restaurants in town about a mile away. Our hosts, Marco and Patrizia we so wonderful and friendly and greeted us with a bottle of preseco and sandwiches upon our arrival, nice touch. We were only there for four nights but wished we could have stayed longer…much longer. This is a keeper for us if we ever plan on going bac.

We had a great time. Villa was fantastic, very clean with a great location, walking distance to town and amazing views. Marco and Patrizia were brilliant hosts, really friendly, responsive and patient with us even when we stupidly were struggling to open the patio doors due to using the wrong keys. Would definitely return it’s a wonderful place

Marco and Patrizia were very attentive hosts and readily available for any questions we had. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and found a plate of baked goods on the table for us and a bottle of proseco in the fridge. The house has beautiful views of the mountains and a very nice swimming pool although it was too cold for swimming while we were there it would be a real treat in warmer weather. We walked to old Barga everyday which is about 20 minutes uphill, a car would have been handy especially given the rainy days, but we managed. The beds were comfortable and the space was roomy and well appointed. We had a great stay and would reccommend Casa Patrizia without hesitation.

Property in quiet area. Fabulous views from terrace. Local bar/shop with very friendly owners and excellent meals / produce. Owners friendly and helpful.

We had the best stay at Casa Patrizia. The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed for a week's stay. Patrizia and Marco were very welcoming. The children loved the pool and we enjoyed the stunning views! The villa is well located on the edge of Barga and we enjoyed our daily walk into town. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

It is a lovely apartment and the hosts were very welcoming, providing sandwiches and prosecco on our arrival. We were welcome to take anything from the extensive fruit and veg garden and were given loads of cherries when they were picking them. The pool is very welcoming especially in the heatwave when we were there. Barga has many excellent places to eat but it is quite a long walk into the town if no-one wants to drive, especially as it is a slow up hill trek (~1.2km). It is shorter coming back! Otherwise it is an ideal holiday location.
