Casa Figueira, Vale de Milho - Heated pool, next to golf course & close to beaches

A fantastic stay and well hosted by a great team. The villa was everything we hoped for: a place to use as a basestay in the villa itself. The heated pool gave us huge amenity especially on the cooler days. First class.

Our stay was a fantastic get away from home for me and my family. The villa is beautiful and exactly as seen in the photos (if not bigger and more beautiful). We were blown away by how many amenities the property had, making it feel cosy and comfortable. We made full use of the bbq and pool. The surrounding area was peaceful and quiet with a recommendation of getting a car to travel to all nearby local destinations. Would highly recommend the villa for any family looking for a home away from home! Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Michelle’s Villa. It was exactly as described, well equipped, comfortable and well maintained. We are a family of five and the villa was well suited to our needs with games, inflatables and all the utilities needed fur a comfortable stay. The pool was well kept and beautiful to swim in. There were a couple of kitchen appliances that didn’t work on arrival, but TLC villas were always contactable and responded immediately, replacing the appliances with brand new items within 48 hours. The maid service was also welcome and helped make our stay even more comfortable. It did take us a while to find the villa (the coordinates didn’t seem to match the location of the villa), but again, we were able to contact the host and she talked us through our journey until we arrived. The surrounding area is stunning and the restaurant recommendations were excellent. A very well presented and curated villa which we would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Very nice villa with Seaview and big pool. Separate air-conditioning in each bedroom and in the livingroom. Centeanos beach in walking distance, taxi rides are basically free. Michelle gave very good guidance and solved any issues very fast. Strong recommendation from our family.

Overall an enjoyable experience

When we arrived we were really impressed with the villa, it’s so spacious and homely and well stocked. There were 6 of us staying in the villa. The location is good in a quiet area with shops, restaurants and a beach in walking distance and a taxi into Carvoiero was only a 5 minute drive. There is a larger supermarket not so far away and taxi drivers were very helpful, we also used a taxi to get to the waterpark which is a great day out and again, didn’t cost much. The pool in the villa was bigger than expected based on the photo and the pool heating was defiantly worth paying the extra for. The patio area was lovely with a BBQ and outdoor furniture. The views of the golf courses and the sea from the upstairs balcony were amazing. Each bedroom and bathroom was a good size. The villa also has Sky TV and Wifi. I would recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for a pleasant stay in a nice quiet location.

We stayed at the villa for 10 days in April, after reading reviews and the description we were really looking forward to our stay, we were not disappointed. The villa was perfect for our needs, my wife is disabled and the fact that 2 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor was ideal. Our daughter stayed with us and used the upstairs bedroom which was huge and had the large balcony with amazing views. All three bedrooms are en-suite with spacious well equipped bathrooms. The furniture and fittings give the villa a really homely feel and you are relaxed the minute you first walk in. There was everything that we needed from extensive kitchen ware to more than enough towels etc. The pool was more than large enough and the heating a good choice to have, the patio around the pool has plenty of seating and sun loungers with a large brick built BBQ which got plenty of use during our stay. The electronic gates to the villa give you a feeling of security, once through the gates you are led to an area with ample car parking space with great views of the adjacent golf course. The area is very peaceful and sitting outside in the early evening with a glass of wine or two became the norm. We would not hesitate in staying at the villa again and would definitely recommend it for families or couples. The area has everything we needed plenty of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. There are some amazing views and beaches such as Benagil and Carvoiero both only short drives from the villa. The owner, Sheila was a pleasure to deal with and could not have been more responsive or informative. Lastly a quick mention for the management company TLC properties, Janette that we dealt with was extremely helpful and professional, nothing was too much trouble. We had a truly enjoyable stay at the villa, the only shame was that eventually we had to go home, I hope we will return to the villa again soon, thank you Sheila for letting us use your amazing home.
