'CASA DEL SOLE' ONLY 50 METERS FROM THE SEA

A short walk from a perfect shallow beach ideal for children. Large safe secure garden with lots of seating and an outside shower which was perfect for cleaning sand off after the beach. Stair gates for children were very helpful. Spacious and beautifully decorated bedrooms. Overall we had a great stay and look forward to coming back soon :)

Casa del sole is located in a calm neighbourhood, very close to the beach and a 10 minute stroll away from the small centre of Marina di Ragusa. Very clean, with a nice secluded garden and parking on the premise. The two main bedrooms have A/C and good, comfortable beds. The kitchen is a bit small but with all the good restaurants around we did not cook very much anyway. Giorgia is very nice and helpful, contact was quite uncomplicated. Casa del sole is also a good base if you want to visit Ragusa Ibla, Noto or Scicli.

We just arrived back from our perfect holiday! The house is an ideal accomodation for 4 adults and 2 children. Giorgia and her husband are perfect hosts, they are very nice and helpful persons. The house lies very close to the beach, the garden is very nice too. We can only reccomend it for everybody!!!

Casa del sole was an excellent place to stay for us, only 50m from the beach. It was very quiet in September, which was perfect, but the number of local amenities would indicate it being very busy in peak season. The two main bedrooms have air conditioning, and this was very welcome in 33 degree heat - unseasonably warm for September. All the amenities we would expect were present, including the use of a portable Wifi unit, terrestrial TV, air conditioning, washing machine. We hired a car which we parked under cover in a car port enclosed with an electric gate. The garden area is ideal for kids being completely enclosed and locked. There is an outside shower which was convenient when coming back from the beach. The outside area is not overlooked, so offers good privacy. Local beach is sandy and safe. Gently shelving with minimal currents and small waves. It was deserted when we went. Kitchen is small but functional with gas hob, toaster, fridge freezer and sink. Bathroom is small, but clean and functional. There are three toilets in total, one being tucked away to the side of a roof-top terrace. Case del sole is a semi-detached house on 3 floors. with balcony to the two bedrooms on the first floor, and a small roof-top terrace on the top floor where there is an oblique view of the sea some 50m away.
