Carthys Estate

I went to Antigua with my mom and sisters for a girls trip to my home country. This was the first time we stayed local and not at a resort or with family and it was the best decision because of how lovely the entire stay was. I felt like a proper Antiguan during this trip! The location was perfection in terms of beach access and tiny local shops in Willikies. The house was an absolute dream come true with high end amenities, pool, and safety. Akeem, the host, was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, quickly tended to any concerns, and was overall just such a warm soft-spoken person. For future stayers, just know this place requires a car rental based upon where it is located in the country. I will say it being located in the hills of the countryside is perfect because it never felt too hot there with the winds and daily morning rain. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Akeem!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and the outdoor area was the best part about the stay. The host provided clear instructions on check-in which was seamless. The wifi was fast and having Netflix after a day of exploring was nice as well. My only complaint which really isn't that big of a deal because of the price, was that the villa is a little far from most activities on the island. If you have a rental car, this won't be an issue. We drove about 25 to 30 minutes to everything we did. I definitely recommend renting this villa if you are visiting the island.

Beautiful quiet place to stay if you're trying to stay away from the hustling and bustling of town. Best to have a car to get around thou. Property is pretty secured with electronic gate system as well as home security. Akeem was helpful in getting some minor hiccups resolved.Thank you.
