Captains Quarters on the Water: Incredible Views and Fantastic Location!

What a beautiful place to stay! It was so peaceful being on the water. Super convenient location near the marina, restaurants and shops. The building is very quiet. Truly a lovely condo and very comfortable. Thoughtfully and nicely decorated with quality, upscale furnishings. Looking forward to staying here again soon.

We've been going to HHI for years, and this was our first stay in the Shelter Cove area and I honestly can't imagine a better view anywhere on the island! Sitting on the balcony off the dining room with the beautiful view of Broad Creek was the perfect way to enjoy our morning coffee, evening drinks and any down time in between! We spent part of each day doing something but also spent a fair amount of time just relaxing and enjoying the view. The change in tides brought different nature to enjoy. If you're a NatGeo type, it’s like watching nature programming from your own front row seat! We saw dolphins every day, some right in front of the villa and many further out in Broad Creek. Birds abound – from the noisy Boat Tailed Grackles, various Herons and Egrets, to Anhingas and even a couple of Roseate Spoonbills. A Diamond Back Terrapin visited most days and there were manatees in the marina!The Villa is beautifully decorated, clean and the kitchen is very well appointed with nicer kitchenware than most rentals. The bathroom towels are much nicer than we've seen in other rentals. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. The dehumidifier running constantly was not an issue for us, but something worth noting for anyone who might be bothered by the humming. The only thing that could be addressed is the inability to use either of the screen doors as neither slid well enough to use. Otherwise, we couldn't have been happier with the villa and we can't wait to go back!

We love the Captains Quarters have been staying there since 2014 convenient to everything, Love Shelter Cove Marina. Condo is always clean. Highly recommend!

This place is in a perfect location!

Our family enjoyed our second stay at this property. The updates to the kitchen and laundry made a big difference to the use of the space. We loved easily walking to the harbor from the property and you can’t beat the view. Watching the boats and kayaks out on the porch is a relaxing way to spend the time and it’s an easy drive to the beach. The condo is well-equipped. All in all, we would recommend this property for a quiet and relaxing stay.

This was a beautiful, well maintained condo with tall glass windows facing the water. It was clean,quiet, and we really enjoyed watching boats and canoes pass by. I think this is one of the finest properties we have ever rented! I would give it higher than 5 stars if I could!

Relaxing patio, active wildlife, quiet setting. Had the pool to ourselves and it was refreshing. Close to food & drinks.

We had a lovely stay here at Captains Quarters. Beautiful views of the inlet and marsh watching the boats and kayak’s coming by. A short walk to restaurants and shops with views of the marina. We really enjoyed our stay.
