Stayed Jul 4, 2024Was worried about finding the villa late at night, but made it first time. Yes the roads are narrow, a bit like cornwall, but we negotiated the driveway with no problem. The villa was well equipped, aircon in the bedrooms worked quickly when needed. The only thing missing were pool towels, but the sun dried us off so quickly we didn't really need them. There were quite a lot of mosquitos, so be prepared with bug spray. Cosme popped in to check the garden sprinklers - he's very friendly and it was nice to meet in person if only for a couple of minutes. Shops and nearest beach are less than 10 mins drive. Also check out Tierra del Fuego in Port de Pollensa for a steak dinner, probably the best steak I have ever eaten.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely villa with a big yard and nice pool. Everything worked fine, air con was on perfectly. Short drive from grocery stores, we enjoyed visiting Alcudia and Pollenca ports too.

Stayed Jul 7, 2018This is a nice little villa which is perfectly positioned. It is not overlooked and the grounds and pool are fantastic. The fixtures and fittings are good albeit a little dated (but we prefer this to being brand new and pristine as we have children!) Cosme is a friendly host and returns calls very promptly and sorts out problems efficiently. The air-con units are only available at certain times and are switched off. I think this is a little tight. This is done to save the environment (and money). But, I think that a friendly sign and reminder not to leave them on all the time would have done. The kids went to bed before the air-con switched on which meant their room was hot at the time. However, I would still recommend this villa as it is only a 5 min drive to Pollenca and 10 mins to Alcudia and is very private. Cheers, Rob.and Cathy.

Stayed Sep 2, 2017The property is somewhat remote and very private, approached down a single lane road and private drive. This was great for us, but may not suit everyone. The outside space was very good, with the gardens well kept and a good size pool and several outside sitting and dining areas. The barbecue area and pizza oven were good and heavily used during our stay. Unfortunately, the property is let down by its interior. The furnishings are dated and worn out and the beds were also worn out and comfortable. The shower fittings in the main house were broken, meaning the shower was handheld only, and we had to call for repairs to a leaking shower pipe in the annex while we were there (in fairness, this was fixed the same day). The house was relatively clean on arrival, but has a major issue with ants. We were very careful not to leave any food or garbage out, so avoided major infestations, but there were still many ants roaming throughout the house, including kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. It needs to be properly fumigated. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was fine during the 'permitted' hours - but at this price it seems unreasonable to limit the hours we could use the air con. Similarly, beware of the limited internet, which switched to unusably slow operation after the first day.

Stayed Jul 30, 2016This villa is great it has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing holiday. The pool is great kids and adults loved it. Children liked playing hide and seek and football in spacious gardens. The annexe was excellent it gave grandparents a hide away from the grandkids ? its right inbetween Alcudia and port pollenca so easy to get to both. Cosme is a great host and nothing is to much trouble the service we received from the off set was outstanding will defiantly be considering returning here in the near future .

Stayed Dec 31, 1969For 8 years we rent Ca’n Canaveret, and we keep renting it for the coming years. Why? Because it became a ritual to be there. We are excited when we drive from the airport to the direction of Pollenca. Turn the road to the house at the round about with the big rooster statue. We look left and right and enjoy the authentic road closed between natural stone walls. The fields with olive trees and the distant mountains on the right. The real moment is opening the iron gate and driving the long path to the house. Coming home, enjoying the views. The joy of living there has started. All the pre-joy is being fulfilled. The children traditionally jump into the pool. And then, the first, of many, lunches at the long one hundred year old table on the covered terrace at the east side of the house, where the morning sun welcomes us every day. It is one of our favourite spots where we also have dinner, breakfast and lunch, and play chess, the children read, write and draw. The house is simple, but comfortable. Especially the air-conditioning in the bedrooms are most convenient. Every morning we go to the baker, buying the fresh bread. The small fish shop in Pollenca is a dream, the supermarkets are close by and there is a choice of restaurants. In 15 minutes we walk over sand paths to the sea for a swim. We make spectacular walks, discovering the island of Mallorca. I believe it is the way heaven is meant to be. Wim van Melick The Netherlands November 2014
