Stayed Sep 27, 2025We really enjoyed our stay at 66A Fourth Beach Promenade in Clifton. The villa has absolutely stunning sea views and access was fairly easy. Parking was usually straightforward, except on the first day when the beach was very busy. We did have an uncomfortable encounter with a car guard who insisted on carrying our bags and then kept asking for more money afterwards. Fortunately, this was only an issue on that one day, the rest of our stay parking outside the house was easy, and using Uber worked well for trips into Cape Town.Amos, the housekeeper, was friendly and helpful, and it felt reassuring having someone on the property while we were out.The villa itself is beautiful and the pool area was clean and inviting, perfect for enjoying the amazing views. Inside, the house would benefit from a bit of a refresh, especially the kitchen and bathrooms, which are showing their age. The kitchen cutlery could also use updating, the knives were quite blunt. Bedrooms were comfortable, and our kids loved the rumpus room downstairs.Overall, it’s a lovely home in a spectacular location. With a few updates inside, it would be absolutely fantastic.

Stayed Aug 10, 2022After 3-months of missions work in Africa, our stay at Allen's beautiful Clifton Villa was a welcome respite prior to our return to the States. The villa is tastefully well-appointed and has stunning views of Clifton's world famous 4th beach.

Stayed Nov 27, 2021Allen's villa is right above the beach and just a few flights of stairs down. The living area is very spacious and the attached kitchen offers everything for a pleasant stay. The terrace and the pool level invite you to linger. Overall we liked it a lot.
