Beautiful villa, private garden and pool, AC in bedrooms, WIFI

Lovely spacious villa. Extremely comfortable. 2 en suite bedrooms. Great views. Nice terrace to breakfast and take dinner on. Well equipped kitchen. Fantastic pool well used by all. Quiet neighbourhood. Well situated for day trips to Girona. Pals also highly recommended. Kids loved the excellent WiFi!

Fabulous stay and the villa was just as immaculate now as when we stayed 14 years ago. Jane and the CallCarlos team couldn't have been more accommodating.

Great villa in great location. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding with lovely walks and calas to discover on the coast. Highly recommend the Via Ferrata experience about 20 minutes away on the coast.

Fantastic property, great location, and the pool is lovely (heating is an absolute boon for out of season!). There's lots of options if you have kids, with two double rooms, a twin room and a bunk room. The house is clean and really well appointed, and a great base for exploring the area. We spent a fantastic week there in May, and have already re-booked for October.

Four of us have just spent a most enjoyable Autumn holiday in La Gallega. although we took this holiday in late October, the weather was exceptionally good with warm and sunny days. The villa has a heated pool which even at this time of year allowed us to swim on most days and enjoy a barbecue at lunchtime. This was not our first holiday here because La Gallega offers very comfortable accommodation in a lovely location. We all enjoy walking and its a perfect base from which to go on some spectacular hikes. Whilst here we also managed some retail therapy in nearby Plaja D'Aro which has good clothes shops and tempting places to dine at. We said goodbye to La Gallega with some sadness and returned to the cold UK, but we are all looking forward to returning in 2017

La Gallega is situated in the beautiful countryside near Calonge, and it is only 10 minutes from a supermarket or a beach. The villa is always welcoming providing spacious and comfortable accommodation. It is surrounded by a lovely garden in which there is a heated pool and a dedicated barbecue area. Although on this last holiday we were just two couples. On previous holidays here we have had children and our dog with us and all enjoyed themselves immensely - whether in the pool, on the beach or just walking in the countryside. We always enjoy shopping in the market at Palamos, where the abundance of fresh fish and local produce is a delight. However we usually spend an evening in Plaja D'Aro checking out the boutiques and clothes shops there, followed by a glass of wine in one of the many pavement cafes. Eating out is easy and inexpensive with plenty of bars and cafes in nearby Calonge St Antoni, or maybe further afield in Llfranc, which is a sophisticated little harbour. We are well travelled having had many holidays in many places in the world - Japan - West Indies - America - Egypt.........as well as most countries in Europe. But the holiday we have just spent in Calonge has to be one of the most enjoyable holidays we have ever had. We would like to thank the owners of La Gallega for making their villa so hospitable and providing us with a wonderful holiday location!

The villa lived up to expectations and we can't wait to return.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this lovely villa for just under a week at the end of August. We found the villa very easily with the instructions provided by the owner which guided us from Girona airport. The villa was spacious, airy and spotless. The outside and inside of the villa were very well maintained and the pool was beautifully clean with lots of room to sunbathe! The kitchen was very well equipped with pots and pans so that we could easily cook meals for ourselves and eat outside on the terrace. We also made use of the BBQ one night which was fun. The villa is a short drive from the local supermarket so you can stock up on great fresh produce and make delicious lunches to eat sitting in the sun (or protected by the awning!). The villa is located a short drive from the beach in Palamos where there are lots of restaurants to choose from if you wanted to eat out or take a dip in the sea. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family, we had a lovely, relaxing time and would love to return in the future.

With a stunning view across Calonge valley to the sea at Sant Antoni, La Gallega villa offers first class accommodation with that certain 'Je ne sais quoi', that you hope for in a holiday retreat, yet rarely find. The area reminds us of the best of southern France thirty years ago, but without the quaint living conditions. The villa is equipped to the highest standards and you can choose from a relaxing poolside day,or exploring the best of Spanish Cost Brava. There are hidden bays, like Llafranc and Calella with local restaurants overlooking perfect sandy beaches. These contrast with the bustle of Palamos a local fishing port and the medieval experience of fortified towns like Pals near Cap de Begur. Calonge for us is the best of Spain and the Villa La Gallega a most wonderful place to stay. We certainly hope to come back soon.
