Stayed Mar 29, 2026We had such a lovely stay at this home. It has one of the best views, absolutely stunning. The living and pool area are the perfect spot to hang out with family and friends, with lots of seating. The staff, Lulu and Yesenia were very kind and accommodating. All the food they prepared was delicious from breakfast to fresh juices, snacks and dinners. The location was excellent, in a bay where other resorts are but there is a short hike down to a semi-private section of the beach. The home is in a nice, gated neighborhood. The host was friendly and responsive. If I had to give a critique, I wish there were at least a few king beds. The beds seemed slightly smaller than a queen and it would have been uncomfortable for 2 adults to sleep in the beds so my husband and I slept in separate rooms as did our friends who were with us. That said, we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Mar 24, 2026What a beautiful space to walk into! We had a wonderful stay - Lulu and Ysena took fantastic care of us. The meals exceeded our expectations and that’s after several Michelin accredited meals in Oaxaca city before arriving in Huatulco. Eating at the large dining table each day, as a family, was memorable and exactly what we wanted on this vacation. Sunsets!! Take advantage of having your meals prepared by this team!! 5 stars!!!We were four couples and each got their own room. Our room had great water pressure and hot water, but the others above did not, and showered in lower rooms. Our shower curtain was not waterproof soaking the floor and rugs daily and the water left the floor extremely slick. I was glad my 83 year old parents did not chose this room. My four star rating reflects the needed improvements. The villa needs some updating and upgrading. Missing plugs near beds, nicer pillows, extra pillows, cotton bedding, a furniture refresh, etc. Things we expect when traveling. Would I book again- Yes!! and will I recommend to friends and family definitely. It was a great experience for our family.

Stayed Feb 25, 2026This is a beautiful home situated above a gorgeous bay. The pool is spectacular, clean and well kept. The home is suitable for large groups with 2 master suites and 4 other bedrooms each with its own bathroom and shower. This was a perfect location for our book group to celebrate our 100th meeting. We were a group of 6 people with 2 couples and there was lots of space to spread out. The home is beautiful and tastefully decorated. There is no easy way down to the beach but we found a wild path that the more adventurous of our group were able to navigate to access the lovely beach below. The house staff Lulu and Ingrid were wonderful, providing us with housekeeping daily as well as preparing fruit for us in the morning. We had 3 suppers prepared for us, which were delicious and very convenient especially after our flight and later arrival on the first day. The area has so many places to explore and the snorkeling is the best I have experienced on the west coast of Mexico. A welcome book would be appreciated with information about local amenities, wifi, and local attractions and a guest book would be a nice addition to read about other guests experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed Rossana's home, and check in was easy and the reception by the staff so welcoming. I already want to come back to this beautiful property and the wonderful area of Huatulco!

Stayed Jan 17, 2026Our family stay at the villa included 2 adult couples 2 adult couples and their teen son. We used 3 bedrooms. The villa is pretty much what you see on all the photos. It is large, classic, and designed well for flow and use. The construction is chunky, appearing to be solid concrete in most cases, so sound passage within the bedrooms from adjoining spaces is non-existent. The beds are solid concrete slabs with decent mattresses atop. It reminds me of cruise ship beds. They are not plush or luxurious, but comfortable enough for good sleep. Bed linens are average, but clean and crisp. Everything is a bit older, but well maintained and kept very clean. If you are looking for 5 star downtown hotel type of structure, architecture, and amenities, you probably shouldn't even be in Huatulco unless you want an expensive all-inclusive resort experience. If you want a truly classic Huatulco private villa with live-in 5 star cook and services in a clean, safe, and relaxing environment, Villa Roxanna will check all your boxes. The view is 5 star by itself. Dining at that massive table with that 5 star view is a treat that never stops giving. Lulu the live-in cook, and her colleague Yuli, are solid 5 star national treasures. We had 3 vegans and 2 non-vegans in our crew, and Lulu somehow managed to create a variety of suitable gastronomically magic dishes for the entire week to meet all tastes and diets. We would return to Villa Roxanna without hesitation.

Stayed Jan 9, 2026The host was great, the pool area amazing. The kitchen and bathrooms didn’t appear very clean, especially the fridge. Two bedrooms on the main floor had sewage or strong musty smell. One we could not even enter. The beds are only double - not really big enough for a couple, even queen would have been better. The sheets are polyester and piling, towels old. For the amount of money I had higher hopes !

Stayed Nov 8, 2025Rosanna is a wonderful and very approachable host. She answered all our questions prior to coming and arranged a welcome meal on arrival. Lulu and Jessi are great cooks-having many meals in was a real bonus for our large group.

Stayed Apr 12, 2025You won’t believe your eyes when you first enter to villa and look out over the pool to the endless view of the Pacific. Great location. Out of the gray and noise of downtown. The cooks/housekeepers were amazing, speaking some Spanish is VERY important. The entire house and grounds are beautifully designed. Keep in mind that you will be charged for the electricity at the end of your stay. Just saying this so you can make an allowance for it. I just highly recommend staying here my grown kids all loved it as well.

Stayed Feb 2, 2025This is not a Luxury property! The setting of the house is very nice. The public areas are in passable condition. The bedrooms and bathrooms are in terrible condition. Painted floors that are peeling. Ants inundating everywhere! Old shower faucets. Rusty hinges. Door to terrace with no door handle to open, sheets all made of polyester. Just old and beat up. Deferred maintenance beyond acceptabilityKitchen is rudimentary with ants every where. Ring Tails invaded the kitchen at night knocking over liquor bottles and tearing at anything they could find. Defecating on the floor. photos available.

Stayed Dec 27, 2024Spacious home that is open to a sweeping view of Tangolunda bay. We were fortunate to be there on New Years and were rewarded with a fireworks party. Lots of spaces for our large family to spread out and chill. Close to a number of stunning secluded beaches. After days in the Pacific we would return to glorious sunsets viewed from the.beautiful pool.
