Hacienda del Mar offers a Gourmet Chef, Butler, and a Housekeeper. Our Chef will prepare two meals a day for you, Breakfast and Dinner as well as light snack for Lunch from our villas Gourmet Menu. Or you may request something special and our Chef will make every attempt to accommodate. Rates do not include costof food, beverages nor taxi fare when staff needs to make shopping trips. The Chef will present you with receipts for your reimbursement. Gratuities’ to the staff are not included but are highly recommended as this is recommended in Mexico.

Hacienda el mar in the Sierra Del Mar gated community is a beautiful home with an A+ chef and staff. However the owner failed to disclose that she has bought the land next door and is building a home. We had a lovely Saturday and Sunday, but woke on Monday to jackhammering, gas powered chain saws and other extremely loud construction noise. The broker who handles rental of the home contacted the owner and we thought the problem had been resolved because the work stopped. The next day it began again. Thankfully, the broker found us another home and we moved out on Wednesday. We believe Vrbo should fine the owner, or something similar. She clearly knew about the construction- she was the one doing it! Yet she advertised her rental as a quiet retreat. And it was wonderful that the broker was able to get us into an equally beautiful home- we feel that we should be compensated for the hassle an inconvenience/ interruption of our vacation.
