Beach Villa 5 on the Beach, Mission Beach

What an amazing place to park yourself, rest, relax and live…just perfect. Our stay was for 2 weeks and we loved every minute of it. The owner Gail is a fantastic communicator, nothing was a stress. The bungalow (No.5) is equipped with everything you need, is beautifully furnished and for us was well stocked with essentials; the BBQ got a regular workout! The space is an open plan design with high ceilings, beams and louvred doors to allow flow, as a couple, just perfect. The view…..wow just incredible. 15 metres and you are on the beach. Relaxing on the veranda you can’t help but just stare at Dunk Island and zone out to the sound of the small waves breaking on Wongaling Beach. I doubt there is a closer or better alternative in Mission Beach. We leave sadly but will forever carry an amazing memory. Thanks Gail & Eddie

Most relaxing holiday we have had in years. Beautiful view, ocean breezes, morning sunrises and miles of flat beach. The house was fantastic. Spacious, comfortable, peaceful and well equipped. We enjoyed our week immensely. The place and location were perfect.

We could not believe the location of the property and how close to the beach it was, fabulous views and very quiet. The property had everything you needed and then some, used the barbie quite a lot, so nice sitting out on the verandah, looking out at the water whilst eating lunch. About the only thing we didn't like was how open the inside was, so that there was very little sound proofing for the bedrooms and bathroom, a bit too open. I was able to message the owner and she replied promptly so that was good. We would definitely recommend the property and really loved our time there.

Wow. This place has everything (and I mean everything). Simply stunning. Do not hesitate & look no further - just book it. You will not be disappointed. It is a beautiful well maintained house and garden and spotlessly clean. It has the most amazing outlook. Very quiet too (except for the sea & occasional curlew). Great Kitchen which has all you need for ‘self catering’. Ideally you need a car to get around the area and its not too far from the Woolworths supermarket. We are planning on coming back.

We had a lovely winter break at Villa 5. The property is beautiful, very well equipped and with a wonderful view to the beach.

enchanting pathway to front door. fall asleep to the sound of waves. Gail is extremely helpful. We had a hard check out at a resort and it was raining and she moved the check in time for us by seeing if the cleaners could come early. it was so generous of her. it is a 2 bedroom two bath but the walls do not go to the ceiling so you can hear everything and if a person turns on a light in one room it affects another room. It is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic interlude. We had friends in the area and we entertained them on several evenings.The views were gorgeous. .

5 star experience in beatiutiful bungalow with everything you would need and more. Wake up to magnificent sunrises and walk 20 metres to enjoy a wine at sunset.
