Barefoot Life Villa - No Shoes Needed

We had a wonderful stay! The kitchen and living room was perfect for a big group. We cooked a lot together and enjoyed having a Bluetooth speaker so we could play music. The views were breathtaking!

Victor, the house manager was extremely helpful. He met us at car ferry and took us to the house. He gave us a tour and clear instructions. The house was well stocked with towels, cooking supplies, beach supplies including chairs, snorkel gear, ice chest, ect.The home was very clean and had wifi that worked well. All the ac units worked great. The pool was clean. There was a washer and dryer which was super convenient. The home has plenty of parking, which is rare on the island. The home is also in a very safe gated community. It was very close to Cruz Bay, grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants.We were provided with a long list of recommended restaurants, boat rentals and ect. We found the list very helpful.We can not say enough good things about this home and the experience we had with the host.We have stayed on St. John many times before and this was by far the best place we've found. We highly recommend. I might mention we are a little picky and we were completely satisfied with everything.

My group and i were very comfortable at the villa, lots of room for everyone, kitchen had all you needed and the patio and pool area were our favorite.

My kids and I have been to Saint John 5 times before. This was our first time renting a villa- we stayed at Gallows Point previously. The villa was exactly as described and pictured in the listing, but better! We couldn’t have asked for more. Well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Deb responds very quickly and is super helpful. The house manager, Victor, met us at the ferry, took us to our car rental, and then we followed him to the house to show us around. He responded quickly when we had questions or needed help with something. My kids and I truly felt like this was our “home away from home”. I HOPE. We can return- SOON!

This property has a killer view. The property was clean and spacious for our group of 9. Would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Barefoot Life. We are repeat visitors to St. John and it is one of our favorite places. The villa was perfect for our family and every need was accounted for. The beds were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in! The view was incredible, and we loved the pool and deck. Thank you so much, we will be back!

Very nice well equipped house. Gated community. House next door shielded by vegetation. Great well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable sofa seats 5. Nice pool and deck. 100% sun on deck in afternoon, shaded in morning. Has a nice about 80 degree view of the ocean, overlooking Great Cruz Bay. Property manager Victor was helpful. Has a basic dish satellite package, but couldn’t connect tv to internet for my Netflix etc., but the internet was 10mbps and spotty so that might not be enough for Netflix anyways. TV in main area only. Internet was a little spotty, but cell worked well when internet was down. Had a minor problem with a lower bedroom AC which was addressed the following day. Lower floor has 2 bedrooms one was a little musty and the bunk room was more musty probably from not running AC enough, however we didn’t use bunk room as we only needed 3 bedrooms. Lower bedroom had inside shower and outside shower which was nice, we preferred the outside shower. Main floor has 2 bedrooms, living area and parking. AC worked great in upper 2 BR and main area. We enjoyed this property and we would recommend it.

This trip was for our sons graduation and filled with friends and cousins. This house was perfect for us! Spacious and comfortable for everyone, whether they were hanging out or needed a minute alone. The pool and patio were a HUGE hit every night after our activities on the island. The most perfect view for mom’s morning coffee too! We will definitely stay again on our next trip.

Barefoot Life was the perfect spot for us- two couples who have been friends for over 30 years. We have stayed at other villas on STJ and the owners of Barefoot were by far the most responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The villa had everything we needed - and then some.

An amazing visit! After many vacations over the years on St. John, my husband and I decided to bring our entire family to St. John. This property couldn't have accommodated all of us any better. The main house has a master bedroom and was a great place for all of us to gather. The other bedrooms are all separate affording my 2 daughters and husbands privacy. Beautiful view and great pool. The owners provided beach chairs and towels for all. So convenient for our beach adventures. Victor, the manager was very polite and helpful. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing home.
