OPEN AIR EXPERIENCE
Stunning modernist architecture sets Cosmos apart. Designed for open air living, the indoor and outdoor blends seamlessly in this magical place where mountain, sea and sky meet. Enjoy hummingbirds feeding, lizards darting among rocks, the sunset song of tiny tree frogs and a canopy of stars that seems close enough to touch, untainted by light pollution. In the vicinity are rainforests, hot springs, botanical gardens, glistening seas, beaches and protected coral reefs.
The Lodge at Cosmos St Lucia (see separate listing) sits 100’ from The Villa in a private corner of the property. It can be rented together with the Villa, sleeping 2 more, allowing for a maximum of 16 guests in total on the property. The Lodge may be rented to others if not required. Unsurprisingly, many guests book The Lodge as a honeymoon suite.
Homemade continental breakfast is included (the banana muffins are legendary); picnics, lunch, dinner and special Celebration menus are available at an additional fee. Our menus focus on locally sourced, seasonal produce; guests describe meals as both delicious and healthy.
At the heart of Cosmos is The Cantilever, a unique sustainable wood structure that hovers 500’ above the hillside. Pointing due west to the sea and sunset, this central space features sofa seating, a dining area for 12 (that can be extended) and a self-serve guest bar with its own fridge, freezer, coffee and tea-making facilities, ice maker, juicer and blender. To the rear is a restaurant-style cook’s kitchen with the capacity to cater for parties up to 25 people.
Beyond The Cantilever are terraces with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, and the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Piton mountains. Enjoy the 48’ ozone infinity pool and a solar heated stone plunge pool, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen, al-fresco eating area and the open-air Pavilion lounge.
The scale and layout suits multigenerational families and friendship groups; the terrace guard rails require strict supervision for children under five.

ECO LUXURY
The experience at Cosmos is only sustainable by being mindful of the environmental footprint on this beautiful island. Cosmos is naturally cooled by northern trade winds, so while ceiling fans feature in all the bedrooms and air con is available in The Villa bedrooms for the hottest season, it is not intended for constant use. As with all things in life, sustainable luxury is about striking a new balance. This is just one aspect of how we tread a lighter footprint at Cosmos - see the eco luxury blog post on our website for more.

Incredible views! Staff was excellent and accommodated all of our needs, especially Shermika. We rented cars for flexibility, but used Craig for an all day tour which was outstanding! We have travelled all over the world when we were expats, but my family said this was the best place we ever stayed and are pushing me to make reservation to return! Thanks to Anastasia and staff for helping us make incredible family memories!
Just returned from St. Lucia after staying at this property for a week with a group of 14. As others have mentioned, the pictures online don't do it justice. The views have got to be the best on the island (and maybe among the best in the world!). The staff (esp. Shermika) is great and very helpful and did everything to ensure a fantastic stay. Hard to imagine a better place for a wedding or get together with friends and family! Can't wait to come back.
Great time
Everything was amazing. Staying at Cosmos was the highlight of our trip to St Lucia.
This was the perfect getaway for our friend group celebrating our 30th birthday! I would absolutely recommend staying here. Shermika was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Everything about of stay over exceeded our expectations.
Absolutely stunning villa and views. You know when you build something up in your mind or the photos are edited and cropped to show just the right angle and then the real experience doesn’t live up to it? Cosmos was even more beautiful in person. And the staff was fantastic - accommodating and attentive. Shermika made everything happen - groceries, an unexpected doctor visit, spa day, excursions, everything. The drivers were easy to schedule and very friendly. The food was excellent and in such huge portions. We considered going to a restaurant for a night out but knew we’d have better food and relaxation at Cosmos. I wish I could make this an annual experience.
From the onset of the trip, Anastasia, Shermika, and Craig were amazing to work with to make my 40th birthday trip one I will always remember. First. The house is GORGEOUS. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s beautiful in pictures - but in person it is unreal. The open-air design is insane and works so well you don’t even notice there aren’t solid walls enclosing any part of the space. Shermika is AMAZING. She was so much fun to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. Her staff was wonderful too! Craig was a riot. So fun. His other driver was great, as well. The roads in St Lucia were winding and constantly up and down, but we had a good time the few times we left the property. We all cannot WAIT to come back next year. We cannot tell you how much we loved our stay and miss it every day! You will not be disappointed!!!
The pictures are no lie. The place is even more amazing in person. Excellent views, wonderful location. Anastasia was great communicating with us about questions before our stay. Shermika made our stay exceptional: food was top notch, she made organizing excursions a breeze, and she is very kind and welcoming. We requested Craig, the driver from Chill Pill Taxi service: can’t say enough wonderful things about him. Made the entire stay effortless getting us from place to place and also organized some great excursions. So glad we did that, we would definitely have truly regretted renting a car. If you are into Scuba, call Chester with Action Adventure Diving. He is right down the hill and he will take great care of you.
From the booking until we returned home - can't say enough about the this property. We asked a TON of questions prior to traveling due to all the COVID restrictions and Anastasia was patient and very responsive every time! The villa is absolutely breathtaking. It is rustic but very comfortable at the same time. Lots of space and loved the option of closed bedrooms with ac or open with the fabulous view and sounds. The accommodations provided everything we needed and more. The pool was awesome and the plunge pool was perfect. The property is well maintained and has some beautiful flowers, greenery, aquarium, birds and we loved the visits from Santos, Milo and Pudding (Shermika's pets). The staff was great. The housekeepers were thorough and we hardly ever knew they were there. The chef was outstanding! Our favorite meals were at the villa! Shermika is a gem! She kept everyone and everything running smoothly. She is an excellent cook and made our anniversary special with her homemade cake and gorgeous flower arrangement. She even texted us to ensure we made it home safely even though she was preparing for their next guests - a wedding party! She made us feel like family! Craig - their private driver was great. Very professional and helpful. Brought us to a local restaurant for lunch grandma's cooking and got us a water taxi when the road to the Paradise Beach was too wet. His driver, Alex, who we had for most of our visit was outstanding! He was helpful, gave us a lot of history and local information and was so accommodating and catered to my mother who does not get around well. He was truly a blessing! We did the Tet Paul trail and highly recommend it if you are not up to hiking the Pitons. An easier walk with some great views and a tour guide sharing details along the way. We also did a half day private catamaran tour with Mystic Man. It was awesome! The snorkeling was some of the best we have ever done in the Caribbean. Paradise Beach was fun. If you get the chance to see Blaze - make sure to buy his fruit plate and frozen pina coladas. His boat is homemade and really a treat to see! Restaurants - We went to The Mango Tree for lunch one day. The food, drinks and service were great! Thoroughly enjoyed it and the view is awesome as well. We did a dinner at Rabot at Hotel Chocolat. Truly an experience and an amazing view. From the rainbows every morning to the sunsets at night this is truly a slice of paradise! We will return! .
We had a wonderful time staying at Cosmos. The house is in a great location with the absolute best view. Shermika and her staff did a wonderful job taking care of us and the house. The house was plenty big and spacious for the 12 of us. If I had to give one suggestion for the owner...it would be to consider getting an ice maker. When you have a house full of guests making drinks from sun up to sun down, you burn through the ice and we had to constantly request for the staff to get more. Additionally, the freezer used to store the ice was not very efficient. BUT, if that is all you have to complain about then I'd say it was a great experience. Additionally, If you plan to stay at Cosmos, our group would highly recommend using Craig for all of your travel needs. He was so accommodating and willing to take us anywhere that we wanted to go. He was also a great source for finding/making excursion and restaurant plans. We had a wonderful week in paradise.
