Stayed Jan 24, 2022The property is just as beautiful as the pictures! We stayed for 3 nights before heading to the west side of the island and it was hard to leave. We loved taking the kayaks out and relaxing at the house with those gorgeous views. Robert was warm and welcoming and arranged everything we needed (car rental, boat excursion, massage and on site yoga) He was even able to find us prescription medicine in the night when we had a bit of a medical emergency. Dalia’s cooking and company were definitely a highlight. We would absolutely return!

Stayed Sep 11, 2021My husband and I traveled to Roatan for our anniversary and stayed at Anoranza. The home was clean, comfortable and stocked with almost everything you need to make your trip stress free. The views were incredible from every room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Stayed Apr 8, 2021It’s really hard to just summarize this in short. I’ll just start from the beginning. Sean the owner of the home kept in communication with me from beginning to end. The home is isolated which I loved. The pictures do no justice when it comes to the actual view. I have so many clients and family members that want to visit this home because of our social media postings, Just as a FYI there are a lot of stairs to reach the bottom pier. I enjoyed this every morning. Make sure your camera is ready when you open the door the view is going to take your breath away. Now let’s talk about the hostess Robert (property manager). He made the stay that much better. Robert went above and beyond any host I have ever met. He was our tour guide, bar tender and driver. Any questions we had he was right there to give the answers. Now when I travel I’ll be looking for a Robert but I know he is rare and one of a kind. I can go on and on but you’ll see for yourself. He even arranged a massage by the pool. Now there are cameras outdoors by the pool as another guest has mentioned. I think this is for the owners safety and yours. Seeing as though the pool is up high and the glass around it. I still went topless at night lol. Thanks again Sean for your wonderful home. I will be booking again very soon. See you next time Robert. Keep that loving humble spirit.

Stayed Mar 8, 2020I cannot say enough to convey how wonderful Anoranza is! Every aspect of the experience was excellent from beginning to end and all communication was seamless. We appreciated Robert's friendly personality and extensive local knowledge. His availability to answer questions, offer recommendations, organize plans, chat about the island and make delicious drinks was such a positive part of our time on Roatan. The house is elegant yet comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with everything you need. It is beautifully designed and decorated with high quality materials and excellent craftsmanship. There is a view of the sea from every room in the house, including the showers! While we very much enjoyed exploring the island, we also loved the simple pleasure of being at home, soaking up the beauty and tranquility of the house and surroundings. If you are up for an excursion, we highly recommend the boat trip curated by Robert. He and another local gentleman, Louis, will treat you to a day of exploring tailored to your interests. Along the way you hear about the island's rich history, the culture, and even Robert and Louis's experiences growing up in Roatan families that go back generations. Some of the highlights were snorkeling at Pigeon Key, exploring the mangrove tunnel, and stopping off at the unique neighboring island of St. Helene, where we enjoyed a beautiful Caribbean meal. We even had the unexpected pleasure of meeting some of the local children in St. Helene, and they treated us to in informal walking tour of their community, sharing stories of what it is like to grow up on a small close-knit island that has one car and only acquired electricity a little over a year ago. Such a rich experience! As a family we have had the opportunity to stay in many wonderful villas throughout the Caribbean and I can honestly say that the spectacular setting, gorgeous home, and Robert's personable, upbeat presence, places Anoranza at the top of my list. Thank you for a beautiful week!
