Stayed Sep 17, 2025This was a fantastic property. My stay with 11 people went off without a hitch. As with most properties in Positano, the steps are a challenge but I was fully aware of these concerns. Access to town was easy via a water taxi. If you are looking for a serene place that feels private and peaceful, this place is for you! Large enough that you are not on top of each other yet many large common spaces where everyone can socialize together. Loved every minute of our stay here!

Stayed Jul 1, 2023The property was lovely and a wonderful place for friends and family to gather! The water access was particularly wonderful during a very hot July. The grounds were extensive and offered a variety of places to eat, relax, and visit with friends. The numerous stairs to the sea and long walk to the road offered a nice way to work off some of the pasta we ate on the trip! Giada was our primary contact and was wonderful to work with and helped us with questions about the house and with many other plans made during our stay. The property is a long walk from the center of Positano, but when the weather cooperates you can get a water taxi into town.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This Villa was a wonderful place to see the beauty of Positano. All four of the upstairs bedrooms had beautiful expansive views with the exception of one bedroom downstairs which we did not use. There are plenty of bathrooms and the common areas were great for family games and movies. The cleaning and delivery staff were wonderful along with the concierge staff. They made sure we had everything we needed as soon as we asked. I would not recommend booking this villa for older adults as there are over 200 stairs to climb up and down to get to the water and water taxis for transport, a very fun and exciting feature of this villa. However, does not cater to those with balance issues or difficulties with stairs. There is also a very long ramp to get down to the villa from the street access so there is no avoiding a long steep climb to leave the villa one way or the other. It does make for incredible views though. If you want to go into the city often plan on using water taxis a plenty, which for a large group can cost up to 100 Euro each way or a 20-30 min taxi to town, which tend to not be super reliable so for those daring enough would recommend getting a Vespa! So fun and easier to park and get around where you want to go! Would absolutely recommend staying here for a large group of adventurous people. Hikes are close by and cliff jumping! Ensure the villa is clean for arrival, further disclose stairs and accessibility on brochure as it was a little bit of a surprise for our older parents. Otherwise this place was everything we needed, wanted and more!

Stayed Sep 19, 2022We enjoyed our stay at Villa Positano. The house was very clean. The view over the water was AMAZING! The water taxi was fun & easy way to go into Positano. We knew the house was going to be downhill from the road, but were surprised on arrival to find a long and steep zig zagging ramp that lead down to the Villa. You just needed to take your time and mind your step. Thank goodness the Villa Grounds Keeper brought our luggage down & then again back up at the end of our stay with a motorized cart. He was very helpful through out our stay ! Considering the price of the stay at Villa Positano there were a few things we were disappointed about & could use improvement. The house cleaner arrived at 8am every morning and put out little individual prepackaged dry crossiants and a basket of jam and Nutella. Not the fresh crossiants we had mistakenly assumed. No butter as advertised & never enough coffee for everyone to have even one cup even when asked for repeatedly. Some days we had to leave before 8am and requested crossiants and coffee to be left before the maid left at the end of the day, for the next morning. But nope, we didn't get any of the pre packaged crossiants or any coffee those days. We never come across a market to buy groceries ourselves. We placed 2 grocery orders through the Villa Agency at an agreed 20% surcharge. I asked for copies of the receipts which I was never given. Very obviously the prices of everything ordered were carfully removed from each item. Very interesting that someone would go to this effort if I am simply to pay a flat 20% surcharge. But I never did get the reciept copies I asked for. We were told to leave our bedroom door open during the day if we wanted our bathroom garbage removed and toilet paper restocked. So we left the doors open. Toilet paper was rairly refilled in the bathrooms, we had to go get some out of the closet ourselves most days. Towels did not get changed on day 3. This Villa will sleep 10 people but there were only 4 towels for use with the hot tub or if you wanted to go down to the ocean for a swim. Rather than list all of the little issues I will just say the maid service could use improvement. And we did clean up after ourselves always. The beds were very firm. The Villa should get an ice maker rather than 2 little ice cube trays. We had a Chef come make pizza in the patio's outdoor wood oven. It was EXCELLENT ! The patio over looking the water was AMAZING !

Stayed Aug 20, 2022This property is spectacular - beautiful grounds, dock from where you can swim in the ocean, and interiors. The cleaning and grounds staff were helpful in every regard. Our only issue is that we arrived early morning from an overnight flight quite tired and could not get into the property until afternoon. This should have been clarified before we arrived so we could have planned better and been more comfortable during that time lag. There are also many steps both down to the water and up to the road so this will work best for those who are able to do those climbs.
