Nestled high on a ridge top along scenic road on St Croix's prestigious North Shore sits Brimstage Estate. The 3 bedroom/2.5 bath villa offers 180 degree views of St Croix that stretch from the North to South shore and include; the US and British Virgin Islands, Salt River, Buck Island, Green Cay, and Christiansted.

The salt water pool with swim up pool bar and sunken-outdoor kitchen offer an ideal place to enjoy an afternoon cocktail and burgers on the grill or perhaps end your evening sipping champagne as you gaze out upon the twinkling lights of Christiansted at night and the million dollar view. New for 2025 is a sundeck allowing for morning to late afternoon sunshine with comfortable lounge chairs.

Ideally situated facing east this charming Caribbean villa takes full advantage of the constant trade winds. The main villa consists of an open living/dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and bath, and half bath. There are 20 foot open beamed ceilings and lovely ceramic floors throughout. Step through the double French doors out onto the wraparound arched gallery that has an outdoor dining table and sitting area as well as shaded porch swing. Just off the main patio besides the pool with swim up pool bar and outdoor kitchen is the separate Caribbean themed guest sleeping quarters with a large private deck. The two bedrooms have separate entrances and share a common bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a king size bed and the other has two queen size beds. The villa is equipped with a 40K generator, so you will always have power.

The villa is located mid-island on St Croix and is within 15 minutes of Christiansted and 20 minutes of Frederiksted. It is 5 minutes from Cane Bay and the beach, snorkeling, and diving and 10 minutes from golfing at Carambola. There is a tenant living in the separate guest house on the hillside below the main house in case of emergencies; your privacy is their main concern.

The villa comes equipped with lots of extras such as beach towels, beach chairs, pool floats, various coolers, assorted snorkel gear, cd’s, dvd’s etc.

The driveway and exterior parking area/entrance are monitored by camera for your safety. The Hot Tub that was previously mentioned in reviews has been removed and the space is now a sun deck area that allows for late afternoon sunbathing.

    The pool and view were great! The communication was very good. My issues was lack of attention to the home. Overhead lights were dirty or not working, washing machine smelled moldy and the dryer took a very long time to dry, sheets were thin, some stained sheets, some towels had holes in them, kitchen poorly stocked with cooking utensils ( all kitchen items seemed to be bought at a garage sale) toaster toast on one side of bread, curtains moldy, no paper towels on the property and very little toilet paper, the drain in one shower was clogged, outdoor cushions were moldy and in poor condition, the sectionals was terribly uncomfortable and was actually outdoor furniture, the guest information book was rusted and needed to be updated. All these issues are easily fixed but seemed to not have someone paying attention. If they could do a new update to property, then it would be a much more enjoyable place to stay.

    Brimstage Estate is truly perfect! The views are amazing, the pool and outdoor living space is so spacious and exactly where you’ll want to spend all of your time. It was so incredibly peaceful and quiet on the mountain side. The home is just as perfect as the outside with nothing lacking for preparing meals, entertainment and hang out space for everyone in your party. We were so appreciative for the provided selection of pool and beach supplies to use as well! Wally is a phenomenal host- one of the best at communicating and his recommendations were so terrific!!! We can’t wait to return!

    This is the place to be! The views are extraordinary! My husband and our best friend couple visited for our 10 year wedding anniversary from 12/29/24-1/5/25 during the Crucian Christmas Festival. Though one of the busiest times on St. Croix, we had an amazing time! We even took a day to check out a few properties with an amazing local realtor while we were here in hopes of an investment opportunity. Even the properties we viewed didn't have the amazing views as our VRBO with Wally. The layout of the residence is conducive to privacy and relaxation. It was very hard to aquire a vehicle, so if you plan your trip during Christmas/New Year's, book your vehicle well in advance with Centerline or Olympic. You MUST have a vehicle! The entrance to this VRBO is a little scary as the drive is straight-- up. But was very manageable after the initial drive up. Try to arrive early enough to find the place in the light, it is much more difficult after dark. The lock box was a bit tricky, but we figured it out. Also be aware that there are many potholes across the island and the locals drive fast. They will also cross the centerline to avoid potholes and can create a few close call situations. As we were here during New Year's Eve, we arrived back to the VRBO to ring in the New Year. We could see the fireworks in Christiansted from the deck.     We enjoyed our stay at the villa immensely. Great common spaces to spend time in together, and very clean rooms. BEAUTIFUL master suite! The kitchen is larger than it appears in pics! Our only “heads up” is that this (like many vacation rentals on the island) is up a windy road with a significant elevation increase. It made for beautiful views, but also made us need to plan our comings and goings efficiently because the drive can be a challenge for those prone to carsickness (especially in the backseat!)
