Stayed Oct 16, 2025The villa was amazing and the property was soooo beautiful! The host was very gracious and inviting. We understand that we were the largest group who have stayed there and also stayed the longest. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there in the village. So glad we were able to have a fire in the fireplace. We used the one in the kitchen/dining area. We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard as well! We would highly recommend this beautiful property!!!

Stayed May 13, 2025Was clean but needs new cutlery & drawer that can be pulled. Ants were an issue on the kitchen counter. Overall we found the ad misleading. Too many stairs for seniors & mothball smell.

Stayed Oct 16, 2024True Italian experience. House found up twisty, turning streets to quiet area in a quaint Italian village. Enjoyed the local coffee bistro/village gathering place. Best coffee found in two weeks. Good access to local sites. We really enjoyed the back yard

Stayed Sep 27, 2024The house is old and very impressive, The garden is wow ! Big, cultivated and wellcomming. Roberto is very nice and cooperative and the price is fair. Calvanico is a bit far for those who travel amalfi area, But if you don't mind driving - it's nice and quiet. For the price we paid, It was an excellent choice ! Thank you.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024We stayed with 9 people and everyone had lots of space to relax. The local coffee shop and bar was great. The resident cats were fun to hang out with too if you miss your pets back home

Stayed Dec 18, 2023We thought the house and grounds were lovely. Beds and bathrooms were comfortable, plenty of hot water thanks to the on demand water heaters. I really enjoyed being able to use the fireplaces! There was plenty of firewood and I think it helped with keeping the gas heating expense down. Really enjoyed the stay!

Stayed May 31, 2023We were a group of 12, 3 families. The house had plenty of space for all of us and a wonderful garden for the kids to play. The views were outstanding. We loved the vibe of a quiet town after the busy time exploring Costa Almafitana and to experienced a period house. Near the town there was a great local restaurant making our dinners tasty and easy! Great value for money!

Stayed Jun 18, 2022We wanted an authentic Italian holiday and staying at Villa Mimosa certainly provided that. My grandmother was born in Calvanico which is how I picked this location. The property was full of charm and we especially enjoyed our time in the garden. Once we got accustomed to driving in Italy, and down the narrow street that led to the villa, it became 2nd nature. A car is a must to stay here. The villa is a short drive to Salerno where you can easily take the train as we did to Naples or Rome or wherever you’d like to go. The property owners went above and beyond to help us out when our luggage didn’t arrive and when the washing machine stopped working and seemed very willing to answer any questions we had about the area. Hope we find our way back again one day!!

Stayed Jul 10, 2020The house was much bigger than we expected with plenty of room for everyone. The garden is laid out in three large parcels and very well tended with a lovely green lawn. Plenty of fresh seasonal fruits (we had figs) and herbs. The elevation made for a pleasant climate after trips to the coast. Nice local restaurant. Roberto was very friendly, uncomplicated and easy to contact. He had great tips for the area. Pretty much perfect!
