This 5-bedroom, 5-bath house at ChampionsGate spreads 3,081 square feet over two floors, 13 to 18 minutes from the Disney parks. The double-height living room opens onto a screened lanai where the private pool and its attached hot tub face open green space instead of a neighboring wall, so the afternoon swim stays private. Upstairs, a home cinema with four reclining seats and lit movie posters turns the evening after the parks into its own event, and the shuffleboard table beside it keeps the older kids busy while the younger ones fall asleep. Two of the bedrooms are themed, which usually settles the argument about who sleeps where before the suitcases are open. The kitchen is set up for real cooking, with a full range, dishwasher and an island that seats three, and the laundry room lets you pack lighter and fly home with clean clothes.

Resort Amenities

ChampionsGate guests have access to the Oasis Club, a 16,000 square foot clubhouse with the Grille Room restaurant and bar, a cinema, a fitness center and a games room. Outside there are two resort pools, a lazy river, a two-story water slide, a children's splash area, sand volleyball, cabanas for rent, poolside food and drink service and a tiki bar. The community also has seven tennis courts and the ChampionsGate golf course, all a short drive from the house.

The Oasis Club amenities are also open to you: clubhouse, restaurant and bar, tiki bar, resort pools, lazy river, water slide, fitness center, games room, tennis courts and golf course.

ChampionsGate is a gated resort community in Davenport, on the southwest side of the Disney area. The Disney parks are 13 to 18 minutes by car, Universal Orlando 25 to 32 minutes and Orlando International Airport (MCO) 30 to 38 minutes. A Walmart for groceries is 3 to 6 minutes away and Vineland Premium Outlets 18 to 25 minutes. The streets are quiet and residential, with sidewalks, controlled access and the Oasis Club clubhouse at the center of the community.
The house sits just off the I-4 exit that serves ChampionsGate, so the drive to Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and the outlets is direct. Free parking is available in the garage and on the paved driveway for more than one vehicle. A rental car is the practical choice here; rideshare also works throughout the area, and the resort roads are easy to cover by golf cart.
