The host's instructions for the house and pool were perfect. Everything was exactly where it should be (beach towels, equipment), and the house was spotless. Really the best place I've stayed through VRBO so far. Little touches like stocked coffee & tea were great. The kitchen drawers especially--meticulously kept. You can tell the house is thoroughly gone over after every visit. Fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly communicative and made everything so easy from start to finish. The home was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests and were truly a joy to work with. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in their property. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth, relaxing getaway.

The view and pool are AMAZING! What a special place. We were able to easily walk down to the beach and the house had everything you needed. Communication with the property managers was easy and they were very responsive. We had a wonderful time with our families. Thank you again!

Perfect house to relax in after a day in Los Angeles !!!

me and my family stayed here for a three day weekend birthday celebration and it was perfect. amazing views with a great pool and yard. its a 5 minute ride down the hill to the beach, or a 15 minute walk to the point dume trails/stairs down to the tide pools. highly recommend for anyone heading to malibu!

We loved our stay here. The location is everything for walks to Big Dume and Westward. It was also super being with a gorgeous ocean view, swimming in the pool, and off of the PCH. Some weathering to the home/repairs needed but the property managers were very responsive and offered to take care of anything we noticed. Friends and family who came by were all in awe of the setting.

We were in LA for a week visiting universities for our oldest daughter and decided to stay a little out of the city but still close to everything. This house was perfect! First off, the gated home itself is very safe, clean and comfortable. An original, large 1940’s Malibu bungalow, recently updated by a very famous athlete, it’s the kind of place where you feel instantly at home—no clutter but everything you need. Open layout, heated pool, and spectacular views. I especially loved the picture frame window in the kitchen (our first day, numerous pods of dolphins were playing just outside of our window like water puppies). But the real reason for renting this home is the location! WOW! It sits on two enormous lots overlooking Point Dume—a VERY iconic filming location. In fact, each morning, I would get up to do my run, and film crews were already setting up down on the beach for that day’s shooting. However, not to worry, there are still miles of beautiful beach that were secluded and not overrun with tourists. The neighborhood is VERY quiet (and obviously so with the famous neighbors that live there looking for a retreat) and makes for a special opportunity to step in to a life that we don’t always get much insight to. Lastly, there is Bess! We have rented homes on every one of our vacations, and I can honestly say that she was the most fun, inviting, attentive, and kind owner/manager we have ever encountered! A wonderfully relaxing experience. Big recommend!
