Stayed Apr 11, 2026What an amazing vacation! Given the other two ratings I was a little anxious about the home but it was fantastic! The host met us when we got to the house initially and showed us through the home and got us familiar with all the specifics. We especially liked that the house was alarmed and we could set it when we all left for the day. The house is not new and the furnishings are comfortable for lounging and relaxing! Four bedrooms with comfortable beds, beach and bath linens provided and each bedroom with it's own bath. The pool is absolutely the star of the space, the water was clear, clean and the perfect temperature. While the pool furniture wasn't new it was comfortable and we spent many hours outside enjoying the breezes and even took a few naps!We had two issues and the host was so immediately responsive - it was very impressive. The AC in one of the bedrooms was lacking and they had someone out to look at it on a Sunday within 3 hours of our placing the call.We didn't have any issues with bugs or flies in the house, however we did find the laundry room was smelling badly and there were a lot of flies in there. Again one call to the host and they had an exterminator there immediately who took care of the flies and fixed a faulty hose that was causing the smell.Neither of these issues impacted our vacation for even a minute. I would highly recommend this location and the host.

Stayed Dec 28, 2025House was poorly maintained both inside and outside. Very dark and lighting either didn't work or was non existent. Kitchen supplies like cookie sheets, strainers, adequate cooking utensils and silverware could be provided or upgraded. House was full of mosquitos upon our arrival and we were eaten alive in bed. Laundry room had a horrible odor and had no lighting. Sliding door to the pool area needs new rollers as it was VERY difficult to open and close. Outdoor furniture dry rotted and unsafe. Pool area had broken skimmer covered up with a piece of cardboard and a rock and outside area not very well kept. Very disappointed for what we paid for the week.
