3BR W/Pool, WIFI – A Dream Oasis in Tierra Del Sol

We were welcomed by the house manager and really appreciated the option to have our groceries picked up and put away before we arrived. That was so nice after a long travel day.The neighborhood was beautiful and felt very safe and secure. The home was clean and as described. The kitchen was well stocked. Our family enjoyed the pool and comfortable beds. The beach chairs and towels were appreciated as well.Our only suggestions would be to update the indoor and outdoor furniture and to add a key pad lock instead of using physical keys to enter and lock the doors.

I would book it again without hesitation. Great vacation.

We just returned from a perfect week in Aruba and once again, we used Aruba Villa Vacation Homes and stayed in the beautiful Terra del Sol property. As before, we contacted Annie from the car rental by the airport to let her know we'd arrived and she met us at the house we'd rented. The house was exactly as the pictures represented on the website, the showers powerful and hot; the kitchen well stocked with utensils (including the all important corkscrew and bottle openers!) We initially had some troubles with the internet (which to be honest, I think was our fault) and Annie stayed with us to help us fix it and even brought a backup system just in case. Annie's amazing!! and we used the internet every day without fail. The house is lovely, clean and uncluttered. The property backs on to a thin wedge of Arubian nature just before the golf course, and we woke early every morning to watch the sunrise from the outdoor seating area with coffees in hand. We really had the sense that it was just us and Aruba; the property is that quiet and private. Terra del Sol is a gated community located in the north of the island, close to the prosperous Malmok area and public beaches. Everyone we met, from the gardeners to the security staff were exceptionally friendly and the community itself is beautifully landscaped. As Terra del Sol is only 5 minutes or so from the highrise hotel area, we usually went there to enjoy the night life and shopping. We went to Oranjestad (15 minute drive) to visit old friends and to ride the new trolley (twice!) we'd been hearing so much about. We had a lovely vacation, and I'm already planning our return! As long time visitors to Aruba we knew our recent visit would be fun. However, it was made that much more enjoyable because we rented a beautiful villa in Tierra Del Sol through Matt and Anna Smilie and their company. Signing up for the rental was very simple, the price was extremely reasaonable and the process through arrival was easy. When we arrived we were greeted by their staff at the house. The place was immaculate. They showed us all of the features and were very knowledgable about the property, answering all of our questions. They even made sure there were beach chairs and a grill as we had requested. On the day we were leaving Matt met us at the house, went through to view conditions and we were off to the airport,. We received a credit of our security deposit just 2 hours later. Never saw that before. The house was great. Very comfortable, well kept up, and contained everything we needed. Matthew was great and made sure everything went very smoothly. It's close to everything and the pool is great. I'll definitely be back.
