2 bedroom/3 bathroom townhouse style villa in Palmetto Dunes with golf views

We were a little apprehensive about the property given some of the previous feedback. We reached out to the host ahead of booking to understand what improvements had been made and how those issues had been addressed. We received a quick and satisfying response and booked our stay. Safe to say, the commitments made by the host were true. The property has been updated and is in a prime location, a short walk to the beach, but also nice and quiet. We'll make this a destination in future years.

This place needs an overhaul. Lots of dirty areas; floors, rugs and carpets weren’t super clean, bathroom fixtures need updated and cleaned. Mattresses were extremely bouncy. Also, air conditioner ran constantly , yet it felt so wet in the unit.

I just want you to know how disappointed we are with this rental. Its disgusting. It reaks of mold and mildew from the moment you step inside, the bathrooms are so grimmy I don't even want to shower in them. Black caulk and mildew all in between the tub and shower door. I know this is on the lower end of the price point for you guys but this is so far from relaxing its ridiculous. The extra pillows and sheets smell of mold, the ice is yellow and every surface needs touched up in some form. Please express to the owner we are disappointed and expect better out of a vacation rental.

Comfortable villa in a great location. Needs new mattresses downstairs. There is a mold/mildew issue with the air conditioner. Desperately needs a dehumidifier run - I’m from the south, it shouldn’t be damp inside a home.

The location is fantastic. Steps to the pool and a short walk to the beach. However, this condo needs a serious deep clean. The walls were dirty and the furniture and carpet were stained. We found food and garbage under the beds from previous renters. The mattresses all dip in the middle. The condo sleeps 8 but there’s not enough silverware or seating for 8. Bedding is cheap. We ended up buying an air freshener as there was an overwhelming odor of animal urine on the first floor.

This condo needs some love. Everything is worn out. Bedspreads are at least 20 years old. Towels are rejects from Holiday Inn. Kitchen is a mix match of stuff and needs replacing. Upstairs bath is bad. Curtain header is on the floor and slat missing so daylight comes too early. Both bedroom tubs full with water when showering. TV remotes need help with missing buttons etc. living room has very comfortable furniture. Porch also very comfortable. AC works well. When we arrived the first floor bath had water dripping from ceiling and the upstairs bathroom was the culprit. Called emergency number and they acted quickly and plumber came and fixed it. That was good service. Overall I would not have rented for this price $1700. I’d give it a 2 if 5. Keep looking if I were you.

Do not waste your money. When we arrived the place was filthy. We found an almost empty bottle of liquor in the cabinet, a box of cigarettes in the bedroom, cigarette butts in the grill, blood and semen stains on the bed sheets. The bathrooms are scary. There was black mold growing on the ceilings. We also found half of a bag of opened chips behind the curtains in the living room. I expected so much more for what we paid to stay a week. We felt like we were vacationing in filth. My 11 year old daughter was scared to shower because the bathrooms were so disgusting. It was such a disappointment. Please don't waste your hard earned money on this place!
