Stayed Dec 28, 2021This is a spacious two-bedroom house with a large balcony and a very well-equipped kitchen. It was very comfortable and homely. The owner had kindly left a selection of locally-grown fruit, including some delicious avocadoes and bread and milk. Although the property overlooks the sea, you do have a small view of the airport runway from the terrace but to be honest that really did not bother us as there are no planes at night or in the early morning. Madeira is an enchanting island to visit; the average daytime temperature even in winter was 20 degrees (we were there for New Year) and we shall definitely stay at Vila Pragelas again!

Stayed Apr 24, 2019Perfect house with all you need and very close to the airport but far enough to not ear them. Place calm and quiet but you May need to rent a car for accommodation.
