Our Villa is now covered by The Clean and Safe standard set by Turismo de Portugal.
The Villa is located on the 4* Domus Iberica complex on the outskirts of Burgau, in the Western Algarve. The spacious porch, with disabled access, leads into the hall, with separate toilet, then into the large lounge with dining area. Off the lounge is a well equiped kitchen with a breakfast bar. Both the kitchen and the lounge open onto the south facing pool and patio area, which includes table and chairs for al frecso dining and a BBQ. The pool is approx. 4m x 8m.
The 2 bedrooms are on the first floor, the master bedroom having its own south facing balcony and ensuite shower room. The second twin bedroom has separate shower room. We can sleep upto 5 people as we have a put-u-up bed, suitable for a SMALL person, and there is a cot available. Fiber Optic Broadband access is now in the House and we have multinational TV.

The house is located on the outskirts of Burgau village, which is a charming old fashioned fishing village with a superb safe sandy beach. It is just a 2 minute walk to the village, with everything you need, including a number of bars, restaurants and cafes and just 5 minutes to the clean sandy beach, but it is a rather steep hill to walk down, but you can drive. There are many beaches, bars and restaurants close by. WiFi access is available in a few of the cafes.

Burgau stands on the edge of the Costa Vicentine National Park, with lots of cycle and walking trails to enjoy. Of course being the Algarve there are many Golf courses within a 20 minute drive, the nearest being San Antonio, but also Palmares, Espiche, Boa Vista and Penina. There are many activities for all ages, from the sports club in Burgau to the zoo at Lagos, to surfing on the west coast to horse riding at Almadena.

Lovely, quiet house with everything you could need. The inflatable pizza was so brilliant in the pool and kitchen so well equipped we managed to cook in a few nights. Five mins walk to beautiful shops and cant recommend the italian on the corner enough, we went twice !

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Burgau. We are regular visitors to Burgau and know what a special place it is, but this was our first stay at this villa and we thoroughly enjoyed. The villa is in a great location, a short walk from the centre of the village and easy walk to the beach. The villa is beautifully clean, has a lovely pool and fantastic amenities and everything you could want for a lovely, easy family holiday. Thank you, we will be back!

Lovely townhouse just a short walk from beach and restaurants. House was well equipped with everything we needed, making it an excellent home from home. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Sun around the pool all day. Would recommend if looking for a relaxing holiday. If you haven’t been to Burgau before it is only small, not somewhere if you are looking for a party vibe,but this is our third visit to the area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay
