Stayed May 22, 2026A few things didn't work: drain in downstairs bathtub (so couldn't give my kid a bath), an outlet (and there aren't many per room), and a door didn't stay shut; kitchen and bathrooms and linens were clean but floors had lots of dust. My toddler loved the toy trucks and it was nice to have a high chair. Safe neighborhood and being close to the zoo was nice. Appreciated the linens, coffee, plastic bags for packing lunches, and other things stocked.

Stayed Dec 24, 2025This house exceeded our expectations! Great condition with excellent furniture and appliances. Very spacious and well laid-out. So much of the house has been renovated, including a beautiful bathroom on the main floor. They even had toy trucks that our 2-year-old grandchild enjoyed playing with. Plus excellent communication from host. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Sep 20, 2025Everything was great about our stay! We spent the day with our kids and grandkids at Brookfield Zoo - and it was nice to have a clean, inviting place to crash for the night - plenty of room - comfy beds for all - remodeled bathrooms - quiet stay! We would stay there again without hesitation!

Stayed Aug 1, 2025Excellent location, right by the zoo, the place is well stocked and clean, in a nice neighborhood. Close to attractions and easy to go to other western suburbs of Chicago. Has everything we needed :). The host was great with communicating and was able to allow us to borrow a pack n play as well. Would stay again!

Stayed Jul 18, 2025We had a comfortable two-night stay in this house outside Chicago next to the Brookfield Zoo. We spent most of our time in Chicago visiting sites, taking tours, shopping, and visiting museums. We came to this house in the evening and had plenty of room to relax in the living room watching TV and playing some games on the Nintendo Switch we brought along. The dining room table is large and seated everyone and another large table in the kitchen was used for breakfast. We spread out into all four bedrooms (7 people total in my family, 6 adult-size and one child-size) and were comfortable. We appreciated the washer dryer in the basement to get some clean clothes. We didn't do any cooking during our stay but the kitchen had available pots and pans.Overall it was a good stay. The host was very responsive to questions and helpful before and during our stay.
